(Frostice1! Great to see you again! I really like your new name too.)
NURSERY Stonefang stretched his legs one at a time as he crossed the camp to visit family at the nursery. It felt strange to him being a father and soon to be a grandfather at the same time. But over all it was a good feeling, one he really enjoyed. "Hello there Deerpaw," he meowed cheerfully. "How are you doing today?" It bothered him that his daughter was getting the cold shoulder from some of their clanmates. So what if she made a mistake. It's not like any of them are perfect! Sandkit saw him and wobbled over to him. "Daddy! Daddy!" she mewed. He stooped down and gave her a lick on the top of her head. "Remember me doing that to you when you were younger?" he asked Deerpaw. Both his mouth and his eyes were smiling.
"She didn't say anything as far as I know," Coalsplash shook his head, replying to Almondrose and throwing a glance at Dorsalray. "She won't be stuck in the medicine cat den. I think it's just nerves more than anything, she didn't look sick. I mean, if you were deputy and the leader just disappeared, wouldn't you be a little shocked?" The young warrior had a lot to learn. "She'll see that she'll be a great leader. She just needs a day or two."

Medicine Cat Den
Cedarberry stared at the medicine cat with a confused yet calm expression, seemingly unaffected despite the tom's attitude towards him. In fact to a vast degree he actually appeared pretty used too it. The tom chuckled gently, surprised to find himself the one getting yelled at despite having a habit of rarely speaking. Well at least it was understandable why Silentdawn seemed to be here without much issue. "Well I suppose his reaction could have been worse. Feel free to let me know if you wish for me to accompany you, I'm sure the sharp tongued medicine cat will learn to tolerate me. At least a little bit."
Silentdawn crouched slightly where he sat. This tom wasn’t the medicine-cat? Had he done something wrong? He was suppose to know this! Feeling a little guilty, Silentdawn slowly placed his paw on the ground, ignoring the pain. It wasn’t so bad. He could deal with it. That angry tom probably didn’t want to deal with him anyway. He knew the leader, of course, but he should have known the medicine-cat! They were important, weren’t they? He backed away from the herbs he was sniffing, not wanting to get yelled at either.
(@rainwisper Cleaver @peepingpeeper Whitemuzzle @oceanix GidgetGal @samiam komiharu @trouvaille you're being tagged cus you have a cat in the clan and I'm encouraging you to reply!)
MEDICINE CAT DEN Seastar had backed up, nearly into Firetooth when Cedarberry kept talking. A little overwhelmed, her eyes darted back to the entrance of the den, maybe it'd be better to just leave....Then Firetooth had screeched out in anger, startling her even more. Yeah, coming back later was looking like the best bet. But the tom's anger had turned on her and all she could do was sit down and nod. Anyone who knew better knew that the medicine cat even outranked the leader. Without them, the clan would be in peril.
NURSERY Deerpaw smiled, oh how she remembered. It'd only been moons ago that she was that little. "Yes, though I don't think I was that difficult to get a bath." There was no way. She may have disappeared every other moment, but she'd liked baths and cuddles. Berryfrost smiled at her family. Her children and her mate, all in one place, and soon grandkits as well! While many had a problem with Deerpw and her situation, the tortoiseshell she-cat was just glad that her daughter was happy with the decision she'd made. SHe'd support her in any way she could, just as she knew Stonefang would. "Oh no, you may have liked your baths, but you were a nightmare keeping track of. I don't know how many times I sent your father out on a search and rescue for you. Or the number of times I'd have to go to SOlstivestar for a whole patrol just to find you!" Solsticestar, their previous leader, the one that just up and disappeared. The queen wondered where she'd gone, if she'd even come back. Another part was angry for her leaving, for abandoning her clan when they need her, and for leaving their poor deputy, no new leader a mess of nerves.
EDGE OF CAMP Amberpaw was shocked that Coalsplash was on his sister's side. Far too many were against her for one reason or another. Some didn't like the fact that she was so nervous all the time, others that she was taking Solsticestar's spot, and most that she'd spent far too much time in the medicine cat's den for comfort. How was one to lead if they were sickly? Seastar hadn't told him she was sick, but...she hadn't told any of them more than they needed to know, not wanting to worry anyone.
CENTER OF CAMP Plucking a bird from the pile, Airecho took a seat. She should share, it was far too large a bird for just one cat. Glancing around the young warrior looked for someone to share her meal with.
Amberpaw made his way over towards Almondrose when he spotted her come back to camp. But he couldn't believe the words he was hearing when he got close. Shocked, that Dorsalray would say such a thing about his big sister actual stirred something in him. "How dare you!" Anger coursed through him as he hissed his words at the older tom. Dorsalray may be old and wise and..a warrior, but Amberpaw loved his sister dearly! There was no way he was gonna let him say mean things about her. Why wasn't Almondrose helping defend Seastar? She was her sister too. "She's gonna be a great leader, just you watch!"
His grin grew sweeter in delight at the responses he'd got, and the tom shrugged his shoulders casually. "I was just joking, of course," he mewed smoothly, "I'm sure Seastar will be an excellent leader. She's probably just visiting her medicine cat to see if he's gotten any signs about Solsticestar. Nothing to be afraid of, little one," he added with a condescending pat to Amberpaw's head.
Coalsplash's eyes narrowed slightly at the ton Dorsalray used, as though he wasn't only an apprentice days ago. Still, he said nothing, looking down at Amberpaw instead. "Are you enjoying being an apprentice, Amberpaw?" He asked the young tom. He remembered his apprenticeship fondly and dearly missed his mentor, Drizzleheart. She had passed on to StarClan what seemed like ages ago, but she had been an amazing mentor. "EarthClan has lots of great sights to see out in the territory, huh?"

NURSERY
"I lost track of the number of times I had to go look for you," Stonefang meowed. "But you'd always turn up." His words were lighter than how his heart really felt. When he had to go look for Deerpaw, then Deerkit, he always dreaded finding her too late. He'd always checked places where foxes were usually sighted but thankfully she was never there. "I'm glad that you're still alive after all those adventures you took." He flicked his tail tip on one of Deerpaw's ears.

The Rise of the False Prophet
Outside of Camp
The sound of paws seemed quiet and gentle as a lone tom followed the scent of a nearby camp. His tom's fur was black, filled with the airy scent of a vast traveler who had journeyed quite a ways to reach them. In fact, the scent seemed very reminiscent of tall pines and mountain air so clearly he wasn't a cat from anywhere near their territory. Where had he come from...and where was he going?"
"It is time I've started a new era for EarthClan, one of great power and divinity," he spoke softly, his blue and golden eyes filled with an instinctive determination, "May the Gods bestow upon them a bountiful future, with myself leading them upon the path to enlightenment."

NURSERY / CAMP ENTRANCE
Stonefang looked up at the sky noting the position of the sun. "Oh no!" he meowed. "I hope I'm not late for my patrol. I'll see everyone when I get back. And you guys mind your mother," he added to his newest kits. "We will," Sandkit mewed innocently. With a wave goodbye of his tail, the gray tabby tom left the nursery.
At the camp entrance Stonefang met up with the other cats in his assigned patrol. "Am I late?" he asked when he joined the others. "Is everyone here?"
(Whitemuzzle or Rainwhisper if one of you would start a separate thread for the patrol that meets Ghost that would be great. This thread is only for inside the camp. Therefore I'm going to time skip to after Ghost has arrived.)
----------TIME SKIP TO GHOST'S ARRIVAL IN CAMP----------
CENTER OF CAMP Seastar had spent the afternoon with Firetooth, being scolded like the child she'd never been. It'd been a little embarrassing, especially since others had witnessed it. Rumors had begun spreading around camp back when Solsticestar first disappeared, but now they were worse and focused mostly on her. How could she lead? Why was she consistently following her siblings around, checking on them? Was she even worthy to lead? She hadn't assigned a deputy yet and it'd been over a week, nearly a month now? Those were all questions she'd heard, then there were the rumors. Far too many to count or recall. The clan was divided, some for her and supporting her and others questioning her. Seastar didn't blame them.
Amberpaw laid curled up next to his sister as the sun started to go down over the horizon, tucked into her side as close as he could get. Hidden from sight, he watched those around them. All day, he'd heard the whispers, the rumors. The poor tom realized that things were not easy for Seastar at the moment, that their clanmates may revolt against her. He didn't understand why they would. Didn't they see that she was doing her best? That she always did her best? Some of the rumors even circled back to their dad and their grandmother. What did they have to do with all of this? He hadn't even met either of them, they'd both passed before he'd been born. Maybe...maybe it was because both of them had broken the code, multiple times. Their father with his multiple flings, something Peanutblossom had been known for. and their grandmother, Ambersky for being a medicine cat who took a mate and bore kits. Maybe..they really were bad luck, cursed as some said.
Graypaw was with Seastar and Amberpaw, however he was not curled up. He was sitting, his chin high, his deep blue eyes gazing around the camp. While Seastar still felt like she had to protect her siblings, Graypaw found himself feeling the same way about her. In the moon since he had become an apprentice, that dark tabby and white tom had changed a lot. He had become more serious, more quiet. He took his training seriously, and when he wasn't with Cutthroat, he was by Seablossom or Amberpaw.
