Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
His thoughts flew to a halt with the rouge's accusation. How was he supposed to respond to that?! In the back of Oceanscent's mind, even as his opponent was no longer any threat, there was a small voice urging him to just go ahead and kill him; as if taking the life of this one Riverstar supporter would make his father proud of him. Wasn't that what heroes were expected to do? Destroy the enemy?
Instead, the young tom retracted his claws from the other's shoulders, loosening his grip enough that Wright could easily get back on his feet if he chose to. "You're right," he finally admitted, voice even. "We...I was bitter, because I didn't - I still don't - see Riverstar as our rightful leader, but you and your companions shouldn't be blamed for believing his promises." As he finished speaking, his ears twitched at the announcement ending the battle, and he stepped away. "You can do whatever now. But I don't think my father will hold any of this against you if you really want to stay. A clan's a nice place to live if you ask me."
"What are you even saying?! You're saying I don't deserve to be here because I was born a rogue and came here under his leadership! Waterclan is my home now too and Riverstar has been a great mentor!" She wanted her words to be filled with emotions, she wanted to appear upset by the entire situation, and to a degree she was. She was upset that Riverstar was so painfully stupid as to believe Chimerahunt wouldn't come back to claim what was rightfully his. She was upset that her goals would now be that much harder to attain.
The fool.
It was clear they were painfully outnumbered, even with the extra rogues to help. The yowl of Riverstar pierced the air causing her to seize in her battering of Phoenixriver's underbelly. "Oh no..." She whispered out. Her eyes wide as she slipped out from under the former leader's body and attempted to rush towards the sight of numerous cats descending on him.
Burningstar at Tuskblood's call lifted her head and hurried in the direction of the voice, eyes narrowing at Smokeynight. Then she spotted Rustyheart pinning Riverwolf, she could hear a cat shouting for them all to cease but refusing to take chances the ginger NightClan leader hurried over to assist Rustyheart, grabbing onto Riverwolf and holding him down. She recognized the surge as him having lost a life and was now coming back restored, feeling the cocktail of adrenaline and weakness that came from losing a life and being revived. Even as she saw Wyverndelirium coming over to sniff Riverstar she still held the cat down. Refusing to let Riverwolf back up just in case.
Marina thrust her attackers away twisting towards where the shout to cease had originated from ears flattening when she saw the cats pinning Riverstar and Wyverndelirium standing near him. What was going on? What did this mean?!
Undertow who stood off to the side knocked Riptide away sending the she cat staggering away before the black tom looked over with interest eyes gleaming as he saw Wyverndelirium standing by Riverstar and having called for a cease. Bemused the black top knocked Riptide away again when she came at him the black tom settling down to watch the remainder of the show play out.
Juniper didn't even look at Riverstar as he fell. She bolted as soon as he took the herbs, slipping back into the nursery to surround Violetstar with the rest as she began to finally, finally seem to pass. The tears began to flow as she found herself curling up along with Gravelshell and the others, coming close to her leader and the kits. She looked up at Violetstar with large golden pools, choking on her words as she spoke, "These kits will be given the best care you could ever imagine. I'll take them in, love them like my own and protect them with my life. I'll teach them about you, about the amazing leader you were, about the most wonderful things we did and you accomplished. I'll teach them about how you saved our clan, Violetstar. About how you saved me. Saved us." She tried to smile, but it was almost deformed looking as her maw quaked with sadness and anxiety.
It was time. Her muzzle pressed against Gravelshell, taking her comfort. Her tail tip touched Juniper softly, and her eyes closed. A few ragged breaths came, and finally she was still.
Gravelshell’s son, Caspianpaw, was the first to welcome her. Then, behind the tom, was enough to make her choke on a sob. Sandtail and Lavenderkit. The new starry cat rushed forward, a surge of happiness meeting her as she began to fade into the ranks of the stars.
Vulcan had guided cats to StarClan before, but today, there was no need for his involvement. Unlike some, Violetstar had many to guide her onward, though even so, the ghostly tom found himself just barely within a corner of the den that held the now deceased leader. The dusty tom seemed to be watching something, wearing an amused sort of smile as he watched Violetstar racing forward to greet her family. His tail twitched up to wave a goodbye, focusing not on the living cats, though they could still see and hear him well enough. "Come and visit sometime. It does get boring being the only dead one here, you know."

Wright's eyes narrowed as Oceanscent answered. He rose to his paws as the announcement was made and glanced around in disbelief. They had lost? Didn't Riverstar say that they were sure to win? His mind whirled with the thoughts of his next move. How could he stay with cats that didn't trust him? But how could he go back to living a life on his own?
Riverstar growled as he came to his senses. How dare they! How dare they turn against me like this! I am the god of Waterclan! His head and chest pounded with adrenaline and he fought against the two cats holding him down. His head whipped around as he searched for the traitorous medicine cat apprentice. She will pay! She will pay! His thoughts screeched in his head like banshees. As soon as his eyes met Wyverndilirium's, a small, wicked smile formed on his maw. "Order these fools to get off of me." He hissed to the tom that he believed had supported him from the beginning.
Wyverndelirium stared at his leader, his heart beating quickly, and slowly his expression set. He nodded once and turned to face his clan, lifting his chin with newfound resolve. "You heard him. Let Riverstar go. Let him go --- let him get up and let him walk away from here and never come back." He glanced down at his leader with contempt and a hint of sadness that such a strong warrior had gone astray. "You're no longer wanted here. Go and you might keep the rest of your lives."
