Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She pondered this information with a single, brisk nod. Glowstar was right; lillies were somethin she was familiar with. One of the most beautiful crowns she had made was made of lillies, but she hadn't realized just how dangerous they were. Of course, she didn't go around eating random plants, so she would have had no where to gain the information.
"I wonder what my poison would be," she mused, equal parts as an actual question and as a thought experiment. What would be the thing that took the Tsar down, sent her to death? It was hard to picture that anything could have such an effect on her. This wasn't to say that she was immortal, it was just to say that the Tsar was careful, even to the point of paranoia, when it came to things like this.
Glowstar cocked her head back in wonder at what Kerrigan's poison could be before she thought too hard about it she found herself grinning, "Booooo," Glowstar said in response to Kerrigan picking Truth.
With a dangerous glint in eyes that preyed upon Kerrigan's she leaned in close to her and asked, almost whispered, "What do you feel utopia looks like?"
She leaned her head away, a smirk already laid across her lips. Her claws sunk into the water and caught another minnow to snack on as she waited expectantly for her friends reply.
She had never considered that such a place would exist. Did it exist? The point of it being utopia was to say it didn't, correct? Which meant the entire concept was little more than idealism. Did Kerrigan have time for idyllic green pastures and happy endings? Could she even picture such scenes with her mind's eye? It was an interesting thought experiment, one she hadn't ever done.
"When I was younger, I used to think that utopia was a world in which I had a say in the rules that made the system work. I used to fantasize about being a just hand, one that dealt punishments and gave gifts alike. I would make the world into a utopia, a place of justice and balance." She spoke the words in a strange tone as she blinked her eyes. "Since, I have learned that such idealism wastes time. Even when you are at the top, the world is not meant to be perfect. It is not meant to be balanced."
She took a moment of pause to think. "That being said, I believe utopia looks similar. It is a place where I am loved, where the hole in this damned heart is stitched back together. A place where I fit in, despite my broken parts. A place where I do not need to strive for justice, because justice is already there. A place of balance, an eternal balance. A place where damage no longer matters, where loneliness doesn't exist. A place where I no longer need to carve out my place in this world, because it would be a place where my place is already carved..." Her voice trailed. There was a lot to unpack in that statement. However, the distant look in her eye proved that perhaps she had shared too much, let her answer hit too close to home. Although she was vague and Glowstar could not hear the thoughts that raced in her head, they were still there.
Glowstar stared at Kerrigan, infatuated with her philosophy. Her eye contact so powerful and utterly awestruck it could send beloved chills down anyone's spine. She looked at Kerrigan almost in the way she looked at Foxstar, with inspiration, but with Kerrigan it was more than that. She looked at her as if she had for the first time seen her. That up until now no one else was worth seeing and now that she saw her it was like staring at magic for the first time, "Wow," She said breathlessly, "That was beautiful," she tilted her head slightly as though the weight of such an idea was too heavy, "I'd love to live in your utopia."
