Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

It was the typical patrol that no one wanted. A morning hunting patrol where you had to hunt prey and avoid eating it even though everyone with you was hungry. Not only that, but it was pouring outside. Any scent of prey was gone and likely taking cover. Survival Clan cats were lucky, they didn't truly have an "off season" of hunting. With the prey hidden most were digging around for hidden burrows. Given the minimal amount of trees they didn't have any shelter from the rain or any luck on finding birds taking shelter. It was the worse day for a patrol and only became worse when they heard a two-leg howling in the distance. Yelling some nonsense no one could understand.
"What is that thing saying? What is that?" Eclipsepaw asked, her already flattened ears only cradling down harder against her skull.
The two-leg was moving downhill continuing to yowl and make weird gleeful noises before moving back up the hill. He didn't leave though. He was surveying the area.
Eclipsepaw gasped, "What if he's looking for his kittypet? Maybe it's one of our warriors and he's finally tracked them down! I've heard plenty of kittypets talk about their experiences, I bet this guys looking for them," She said with wide eyes.
"Mm. I don't think so. Two-legs have short attention spans. Get in the bush so it can't see you." She tried to spot what he was looking for, to no avail.
Eclipsepaw dove into the bush and looked back at Voidedmemories to follow after her, "Come on, so he doesn't see you," She whispered in almost a squeak.
From Voidedmemories view she could see the two-leg still peering about, but in the distance she could see the biggest most fluffiest white rabbit she'd ever seen just tumbling about in the fields away from the two-leg.
Her eyes widened, think about how much her kits would love some fluff from it. She climbed back down, beckoning the apprentice. "I think I found some prey." She said with a wink.
Eclipsepaw turned back one last time to ensure the two-leg was busy before nodding and walking alongside Voidedmemories. When they neared closer to the rabbit it looked gigantic. Or maybe it was because it was a ball of fuzz, Eclipsepaw was almost afraid of the thought of hunting it. What if she went to tackle it and just when she got it right where she wanted it she couldn't kill it because it was all fluff. Maybe it had a fluffing mechanism where it would shed all its extra fur off and escape and she was desperately biting fuzz and Voidedmemories would think badly of her.
"I'll head around the front, you take the back." She stalked to the front of it, keeping low to the ground, and waited for Eclipsepaw to get into position.
Eclipsepaw circled around the field. She made sure to walk slow, making the grasses movement look like natural twitches in the wind and ducked low. When it felt right she peaked between the grass and saw she was in sight of the rabbit. Only once she came from behind did she realize that whatever this was it couldn't be a rabbit. It had a big fluffy tail! That it was wagging... Like a dog. She didn't want to scare it away and make Voidedmemories mad at her though... But she also didn't know what they were facing and that worried her. She decided to let it unfold. Voidedmemories would attack it and hopefully it would run to Eclipsepaw where she could pin it. She waved her tail, signaling to Voidedmemories that she was in position.
The she-cat got down, getting ready. "Wait..." That...wasn't a rabbit. Her eyes went wide as she tried to figure out what to do. It was small, and they could probably take it down, but it was a dog. Dogs meant bad news and death, and she had led an apprentice right up to it. Glowstar was going to kill her... She slowly beckoned the apprentice to make her way over to her.
Eclipsepaw slowly moved towards Voidedmemories, maybe she realized she made a mistake and was going to punish her for not saying anything, "I'm sorry, I only noticed when we were close up," Eclipsepaw whispered. Her eyes were bigger than usual with a bit of uncertainty if Voidedmemories would get upset.
"Look at it. It's a dog. However, if you want, we can still try to take it down since it's small. This is up to you." Her voice was very gentle and quiet, trying not to disturb the dog.
It was like eating a fox! Wasn't it? It was small and if they found a fox cub wouldn't they hunt that too? Food was food and leafbare was coming. But they also had a lot of kittypets, would they be disturbed by a dog on the freshkill pile? What if it made them sad thinking back to their kittypet days when they may have hung around dogs in harmony.
"Can we...? I mean, what if cats get offended who previously were kittypets? I don't know if we're able to, but if you think it'll be fine then I say let's hunt it," Eclipsepaw nodded.
She hummed thoughtfully. He was right. Leafbare was leafbare. "It could give others in the clan confidence, and could give you a bragging right." She pointed out. "Plus, with as fluffy as it is, we could weave fur scraps into the queens nests to keep them and their kits warm in the coming snow."
Illuminatedpaw had been hunting nearby and smelled the scent of dog. Heart jumping into his throat he stalked over almost bumping intoEclipsepaw. "Whoops!" He hissed shifting to crouch by them."Why is there dog scent? Whats happening?" He spotted the pomeranian and blinked, "What is that?" He whispered.
(That's totally up to you and your choices, there's no guidelines)
"We're not sure if we should hunt this dog," Eclipsepaw whispered, "I mean... It's a dog! But it's a small dog... And we could use some food and this would be a lot of food. And it's soooo fluffy, we could use it for our nests. I don't know, you're older than me Illuminatedpaw, what do you think?"
"yeah okay, let's hunt the dog," Eclipsepaw said, suddenly just agreeing along with Voidedmemories, she was older after all, "How should we go about this? The same way we were going to before? One at the back, one at the front?"
