Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Flamingsoul, Flame as she goes by now, stepped onto Moonclan territory, her turquoise eyes narrowed as they scanned the forest. She stalked into the undergrowth, following the path to the camp. She had to know which kittens she needed to take for Burningstar and how she was going to do it. It was easier for her to be on Moonclan territory to get a feel of how she would execute her plan. Her ginger fur illuminated in the sunlight as she made her way through the forest in a crouch. She felt that day time would be the best since Moonclan cats were nocturnal. She was close to the camp when she heard something and she halted, though she wasn't concerned. She swerved and climbed up the nearest tree and hid within the lush green branches, staring down to watch them pass. Though this cat seemed really familiar. She knew most of the cats in Moonclan, however, this specific cat was more than familiar. It was Pinesong! She held her breath as her sister passed beneath her and wondered if her sister would pick up her scent.
Pinesong had decided to head out on an early hunt, even though she was mainly nocturnal she enjoyed the occasional sunshine on her pelt and the beauty of a sunset. She padded along through MoonClan's territory, in a daze, she didn't pick up any distinct prey scents yet and she hadn't decided where she wanted to hunt. She was lost in her own thoughts. Maybe one day she'd be showing her younger siblings MoonClan's territory and one day she would be hunting and patrolling beside them. Then the scent hit her, it was so very familiar yet so very foreign. Pinesong couldn't figure out why her brain registered it as out of place, yet it was a scent she'd known since birth, she'd recognize it anywhere. She jolted to a halt, her gaze scanning her surroundings and then upward, fixing her sister with an icy blue stare. "Get out of MoonClan territory." she growled, unsheathing her claws. "You gave up your right to be here when you abandoned your Clan."
Flame hissed in annoyance that she had been spotted and she slipped out of the tree like some serpent. She dropped to the ground, her paws sounding a soft thud. "Oh, tough girl. What are you going to do? Make me leave?" She circled her sister and came in close to her ear to whisper, "I'd like to see you try."
Pinesong hissed angrily and quickly spun and raked her claws over her sister's ears, a large part of her hoping she'd slice one open, another part of her hoped that she didn't. Pinesong loved her sister immensely but had been deeply wounded by her betrayal and Flamingsoul had to know where the line was drawn. "Actually, yes." She snarled. "I'm a warrior of MoonClan and that is my job and I'm tired of you acting like you're so much better than I am. Because you're not! You abandoned your Clan and family when they needed you most and it makes you nothing but a coward!" she stated, standing nose to nose with Flamingsoul.
Flame's head tossed to the side from her sister's blow. She turned back to look at her sister slowly, a grin spreading across her face."Your adorable when you get mad" she purred, patting the top of Pinesong's head. Then her smile disappeared, "I didn't abandon my clan. They abandoned me a long time ago."
"What are you talking about? No one abandoned you! Don't you know how deeply your hurt mother and father when you left? How you hurt me? You were my best friend and then you just left." Pinesong hissed, the anger beginning to fade from her eyes, replaced by hurt.
Flame narrowed her eyes and stared at her sister for a long moment before replying, "You didn't see how the other apprentices treated me. You don't know what I went through."
She didn't want to tell her sister about her plans. She knew Pinesong would either try to stop her or rat her out and then her plan would be ruined. " I have my reasons" she growled, showing her teeth.
"You know I cannot allow you to remain on MoonClan territory." Pinesong said firmly. "Where are you heading? I can at least escort you in that direction." She didn't want to admit it but she wanted to spend more time with Flamingsoul, she had so much to tell her and so much to catch up on.
The ginger she-cat thought for a moment. Should she play along or have Pinesong think she was up to something? She decided to keep her plan a secret and forced a sweet lie from her tongue, "You caught me. I was on my way to see everyone." The lie tasted sour. She didn't care about her family or her old clan. She just didn't want Pinesong knowing what she was really doing there.
"I'm not stupid and neither are you. You are not dumb enough to stroll right into MoonClan after abandoning us." she stated flatly, she knew her sister well enough to know when she wasn't telling the whole truth. "Phoenixstar is the leader now. It's nice to have a relative at the head of the Clan. You'd probably be welcomed back. Mother and father miss you, so don't I and we have new siblings." Pinesong said, hoping to maybe start convincing her sister to come back.
(Pinesong won't try and stop her from stealing NightClan's kits XD )
Flamingsoul perked her ears, "we have new siblings?" That was really the only thing that caught her attention. She also wondered what happened to Swiftstorm becoming leader however, when she heard that she had new brothers and sisters, it really caught her off guard.
Pinesong nodded and smiled at the thought of their new siblings. "Mudkit, Puddlekit, Juniperkit, Lightningkit, Eaglekit, and Daisykit!" she listed them off. "And they're absolutely perfect!"
She suddenly felt a pang of guilt for not being there when they were born. "How old are they?" she asked, tilting her head, suddenly looking more like her old self.
