Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Or there's always Walnut. Introduce him to the family?? He can meet Ivorycrown and see how awful she is. Or we can always end this thread, count them as mates (or not), and start a new one and include others in on it. Especially family members)
Who all do you have in EC? Maybe we can pull them all in as part of the first day in EC for Crownglass? I feel like it'd be too confusing to bring in other role players, so what about our own cats? Or we can have some of your SummerClan cats patrolling while the two are doing the same and run across each other and just pretend the two clans are next to each other. Or one of them could get hurt, and Seablossom panics. If it's her, she'd panic cus he's leaving on a patrol or something, while for him it'd be that she'd mother-hen him?
Those are all of the ideas I have. I'm open for ideas though?)
(I've got Breezestep, Martenfoot, Dorsalpaw, and Pondpaw. All of those sound fun tbh. We could combine them, do a patrol with a few of our existing cats & have him get hurt there? They are kinda far from Summer so that would be harder to work in though)
(So how do you wanna do it? I've got Seablossom, Ivorycrown, Amberkit, Deerpaw, and Berryfrost probs another but idk??? Martenfoot? really lol what promoted that name?Could do taht after he gets hurt she's torn between him and the kits?)
(I think a generator? I really don't remember where it came from but he's boring as stale bread tbh. He has a whole thread that is just 10 posts of him & Solsticestar eating. Fun. Ooh I like that. Maybe the patrol is Crown Ivory Marten and Berry & they run into trouble and she comes to help and has to decide if she's going to help Crown or Ivory? or is that too dramatic Marten and Berry can be switched out for anyone, but I figured having adults means that she won't be worried about protecting the apprentices)
Or sh'e swapped for Ivory, Ivory stumbles upon them and Sea's freaking out cus he's injured and she's just like get it together woman! while rolling her eyes at them. lol All while Berry is like yup love saw that happening a mile away and everyone is just dismissing the whole separation issue until later when breeze or one of your cats sees them and is like um no honey that's not how that works/that's not what I said when I said to find help raising those kits (figured breeze cus of the thread we already have going with those two) So maybe Breeze, Pond, Sea and Crown? Breeze for time with her kit and Sea and Crown to tour the territory. The mother-son duo join them only for CRown to get hurt protecting Pond?
Seablossom had found herself stuck to Crownglass's side since the moment he joined the clan. The tom needed help getting use to his new territory, who better to show him around then the clan's deputy? At least that's what she told herself as she left Ivorycrown in charge of their youngest siblings. While, that may not have been her best idea it was the only one she had at the moment as well as the only option. She really hoped that it would bring the siblings together but even now Ivoyrcrown threw a fit about having to babysit the twerps. The deputy made a quick escape from the nursery and headed back towards Crownglass, who'd she'd kept in eye sight near the camp entrance. "Ready?"
The ebony tom leaned against the entrance to the camp as he waited for the deputy to return, smiling politely at the mother-son pair sitting not too far away and attempting to recall their names. He knew the queen, Breezestep, but he couldn't figure out what the little one's name was. He should know this, they had introduced themselves just a little bit ago, but the apprentice just slipped his mind. Crownglass tilted his head, thinking, then looked up as Seablossom returned and smiled in relief. "Ready," he agreed.
"Ok." Where to start? She'd introduced to him to as many cats in the clan as she could, trying to stay in camp as much as possible with the kits and all, and just wanting to keep close and within eyesight of him. Letting out a stretch, the she-cat glances each way just outside of the camp entrance, thinking about where to go all while her tail looped with his. Her touch helped to reassure herself that he was still there, that this was real. It'd only been a week, but she still couldn't believe he was here, with her of all cats. Seablossom could already feel the anxiety building of leaving the kits here. They were in good hands, she repeated to herself. She'd been telling herself that all morning and the day before, trying to help ease her worry that the moment she walked away, it would all fall to pieces around her.
The warrior padded comfortably at her side, his gaze interested as he looked around outside the camp. He still wasn't completely sure what their relationship was, but they had spent so much time together recently he was confident -- well, hopefully -- it was going somewhere good, somewhere he liked. It certainly seemed that way. Crownglass purred lightly as he glanced over at her. "EarthClan is really nice," he told her, "I can see why you like it here." It was different than his former home, but comfortable. Safe.
The queen rolled her eyes as she followed the pair, but she looked a little smug. Breezestep was glad that it looked like the deputy had taken her advice in finding a nice tom to settle down with. Pondpaw loped at her side, his tail waving and wearing an infectious bright grin.
Seablossom grinned, "yea it's all I've ever known. But you can find new beauty and life in it all teh time." Sometimes literally. She'd found the latest kits inside their territory, their mother glad she'd finally shown up only to leave moments later saying they were Peanutblossom's problem now. The deputy didn't even think the queen knew her father was dead. Not paying attention, she stumbled over a tree branch. Her face flushed with red, embarrassed she'd allowed something so small to best her while showing Crownglass of all cats around.
Like him, she too felt they were close, close like lovers. But could it be? Or was she just imagining things? Reading far to into the situation? He'd seen her break down enough to have seen her at her worst. Knew her as a mother first and a warrior second; she'd put off her warriorship for Ivorycrown. But could he really want her as his?
Crownglass was not insecure. Unlike her, he had no doubt that it was possible for another cat to love him, and that it was possible she did. But he was cautious as well, and he did not want his own feelings to cloud his judgement and interpret her actions the wrong way. She had not told him to stop visiting the clan, but she had not invited him to join it, either; he hadn't expected her to when he had been content in his own home, of course, but it was something he had to keep in mind. He had asked to join the clan and she had been happy, but perhaps she was welcoming a friend and a new warrior, nothing more. Still, they had been so close and intimate recently, and it felt so right, he wondered if she might feel the same.
"What about during the colder moons? Does it snow much?" he wondered. SummerClan's open plains were below the slant of WinterClan's mountain and surprisingly sheltered from the snow that broke upon the peaks, so they usually only got a light cover of snow, often no deeper than his paws.
"The land is always dusted in a small layer of snow, but just enough to give it a winter feel to it." Sealososm, busy shaking her paw which had a stickerbur stuck to it, nearly walked right into a tree nearby. Oh, this was not her day. Maybe she shouldn't have left camp today, or the kits. Was this a sign? Glancing back towards camp, she spotted Breezestep and Pondpaw. We're..we're they following them? The poor deputy's face heated up at the idea that they just might, a little embarrassed both in her stubbles they were sure to have witnessed and the fact that she'd been caught spending yet another day with Crownglass who's side she really hadn't left since he got here soooo.
(So I realized with have like three threads going with this plot in mind breeze and Sea Ivory and Crown and then this one and none of them are on the same page lol. Like Breeze and Sea are before he gets here, and Ivory and Crown is between his arrival and this moment)
(What a mess this makes it hard to keep it all straight xP)
Crownglass nodded, taking that in, relieved it wouldn't be too different from what he was used to. "Good. Good," he repeated, unsure what to say next, before lapsing back into silence.
Pondpaw suddenly sprinted past them, yowling like a fox was on his tail, and shot up a tree ahead of them. His mother stalked after him with a stormy look. "Kids," she hissed at Seablossom with an exasperated but somewhat amused shake of her head.
(here to ruin all private conversations, pondpaw!!!)
(Have we ever made it easy on our selves when it comes to this family? What did you ever do with Walnutchime? It does make it interesting though cus then were not waiting on one thread to finish before incorrupting that idea into another thread. Also, I just realized that our Breeze Sea thread was supposed to be about bashing Solsticestar and it's not lol.)
Seablossom couldn't believe what she was seeing. Was Breezestep aware that this was the tom they'd been talking about last moon? Surely she hadn't put two and two together already? The tom had only been here a week or two now. But the queen had seemed a little invested in their conversation, curious as to who could have caught the deputy's eye. Well, here he was. "Yes, always a handful." Ivorycrown was still a handful and she'd been a warrior for a week now.
(Lol yes Pondpaw! Interrupt that awkward silence. Especially since idk what to say next lol)
