Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Freekit shuffled out of her nest in the MoonClan nursery. As careful as ever not to disturb her still sleeping nestmates. The kitten was slowly getting used to the nocturnal ways of her clanmates and was now starting to rise with the moon leaving the hot summer days behind her. Her periwinkle eyes gave a soft glow as she weaved through the dens and padded out of the nursery. Her paw steps slowing as she made it out of the den and into the broad MoonClan camp. Her gaze instantly shifting up towards the moon and her mind becoming enraptured with the stars that dotted the darkened sky.
The calico she-kit let out a soft 'oh' as a sense of wonder flooded her mind and glowed in her wide eyes. The night sky was truly breathtaking. Her ears swivelled atop her head as she heard another set of tiny paw steps come pounding out behind her. She only had enough time to scrambled out of the way before a blur of light and smokey grey fur came whizzing out of the nursery, a loud laugh leaving the tiny kit.
Darkkit had awoken just as Freekit had left the nursery. He wasn't as careful as the other kit was when he'd raced out of the den. Even tripping over a few sleeping bodies. He'd given a breathless apology before he bolted out of the den his heart pounding in his chest ready to start a new adventure. He bounced past Freekit and yowled out loud his kittenish voice echoing, "Thank the Moon God it's finally night time! I was gettin' stir crazy in there!" His ivory grey patches of fur glowing a ghostly white in the moonlight and his sea blue eyes shone with excitement.
( your coding game is off the charts omg i can barely make a table xD )
Startled awake by the sound of faint yowling and the feeling of his brother almost tripping over him, Galaxykit blinked his eyes open wearily. Unlike Freekit, Galaxykit had always been accustomed to a nocturnal lifestyle, but perhaps Darkkit had woken him in the middle of a sleep cycle, as the young kit was positive that this was the most exhausted he'd ever been upon waking up. Still, it would be no use trying to go back to sleep; groaning slightly, the young tom rose on unsteady paws and padded outside.
"Good evening," he frowned, taking a second to glance at Darkkit and Freekit before sighing and closing his eyes again. "Is there something special going on today...? You rushed outta there pretty fast, Darkkit..."
Darkkit had uttered out a quick apology accompanied with a lazy grin to Freekit, before both their heads turned to look at Galaxykit. Darkkit had shrugged his tiny shoulders, "No, not really. I just wanted to be out of the nursery. How can cats just spend so long just sleeping? It's so boring!" the grey smoky kit responded his tail lashing side to side at the mere thought of doing nothing for such a long time. Darkkit had risen early and had spent a good portion of his time rolling around in his nest just waiting for someone to finally leave the den. So when he'd noticed Freekit had finally left he was up on his paws and out.
Freekit had watched Darkkit and Galaxykit's exchange with a soft smile on her face and amusement shining in her eyes. She turned her head to look at Galaxykit before uttering her own, "Good evening" but had directed it to both of the two kits.
After feeling the foot of Darkkit smack her in the maw, Berrykit left out a soft moan of discomfort and distaste at being awoken, before slowly bringing herself to her paws. Still half asleep, she bothered to give a few lickes to her fluffy grey pelt that make up nearly all her body mass, before she half stumbled outside the nursery den. Her eyes, slit from one-third tiredness, annoyance, and bewilderment, looked upon the small group of three that had ended up gathering outside the nursery den. "What's going on?" She asked, her incredulous tone clearly expecting a much better reason for being woken up so early than any of them had.
( i also felt like i should mention your coding game is beautiful and on point Fawn ♡ )

Freekit's tiny calico head turned to look at the new joiner to there early 'risers' group. She gave the kit an apologetic smile as she noted the look of displeasure on her face, "Sorry for waking you" she quietly apologized for the louder rambunctious tom. She felt it was partially her fault for having left the den so early thus causing Darkkit to chase after her.
Darkkit's gaze also turned to look at Berrykit his tail lashing around wildly from his uncontainable excitement, "Yeah, yeah, sorry if I stepped on ya'!" his voice rushing out in a single breath making it seem like he wasn't sorry at all for having done it. "Like I told my brother over here. I was just ya' kno' bored in there" he lilted his paws moving in place.
She gave the pair - though more specifically Darkkit - a look of exasperation and frowned a bit in a mixture of disappointment and growing annoyance. However, instead of snapping at the pair as she seemed inclined to do, she instead have a small sigh. "So, since you're all up, what are you even going to do?" She asked as here eyes glanced between the three, her voice revealing both a remaining tinge of bitterness on being woken up so early, though it was intermingled with the hope that perhaps, even if they hadn't gotten up for any particular reason, they still yet might think of something to do that would justify her being woken up so early.
Galaxykit chewed on his lip for a few seconds. "...I hadn't thought about that yet," he admitted, casting his gaze downward in embarrassment. "I really only just came out here to complain, y'know?" He gave a quick glance back to the nursery, then to the distant rising moon, then back to the rest of his friends. "There's no point in going back, though. Maybe we could make the most out of being the only ones awake somehow..."

Freekit's ears twitched at the question posed by Berrykit. She hadn't given too much thought about that either. Despite being the first one out of the den she'd done so with the idea that she'd just wanted to merely stretch her legs and then return to the den and wait for more kits to wake up. She hadn't planned on Darkkit racing out after her and waking up the others. So, her gaze shifted towards Darkkit in hopes that he wouldn't at least have something for them to do.
The light grey smokey tom was only half listening to hat the others had been saying his attention currently caught on a single copper coloured leaf that had gotten tangled up in a sparse looking pine tree. It wasn't too high up maybe seven to ten longish tail lengths up the intertwined branches of the tree. His attention snapped back to the group just in time for his brother, Galaxykit, to finish what he had been saying. "How about the first one to grab that leaf can decide what we do?" he challenged his pale blue eyes glinting in the moonlight as he looked at Berrykit, Freekit and Galaxykit.
"Or," Berrykit cut in, her tone a strong implication she thought that what Darkkit said was the stupidest thing she'd ever heard, "we could take the best idea and democratically follow it. And, what I was thinking, considering that even most of the adults are still asleep, is the we check out what outside of camp - and maybe even outside of Moonclan - is like." She said the idea with so much confidence in her own words and so much certainty in the idea that despite her mention of choosing what to do "democratically" she'd already attempted to take the roll of a dictator. However, looking over the three's faces, she manged to tag on a disinterested, "What do you guys think?" in a half-hearted attempt at seeming agreeable.
Galaxykit found himself torn. On one paw, he really liked his brother's idea of grabbing the leaf, but on the other paw, he reeeeally liked Berrykit's idea about fair democratic processes. What was a shy guy like him supposed to do to try and placate everyone? Why did he have to be so nice?
"What if we did Berrykit's idea, and went out to explore outside of camp..." he began, brows furrowed in complete concentration. "...But then we also did Darkkit's idea, and grab the leaf and took it sightseeing with us! ..." He trailed off slightly near the end, expression dulling somewhat. Well, it had seemed like a good idea when he'd first thought of it...
Already being awake before the rest of the kits Arakit laid low in the shadows of the trees. Her ears perked at the sound of a game of chasing a leaf. She grinned to herself and had also noticed her friend Freekit there as well. She then shuffled a moment on the branch that she was on and grabbed one of the leaves in her mouth. She then proceeded to jump down out of the tree. Her sand coloured pelt shined against the moonlight when she dropped down. She walked up to the gang of kits and placed the leaf down in front of them. "Does this make me leader?" She chuckled.
Owlkit snorted to herself, but said nothing. She had been watching the kits discuss this leaf for several minutes now, and was glad that little she-kit had finally done something while the other kits stood around bickering. She licked her unkempt grey and brown chest fur down, and glanced back up to continue watching the kits and their foolishness.

Freekit had been about to agree with Galaxykit's decision. The tom-kit had looked unsure of his compromise and the calico kit's nature had wanted to ease his worries. She was about to open her mouth and voice her thoughts when Arakit had come waltzing in with the leaf planted firmly between her jaws. Suprise flashing in her eyes before being replaced by a soft and fond recognition. "Oh, hi Arakit!" she squeaked in her high pitched kitten voice. Her head tilted slightly at the idea of Arakit being the leader of their adventure and her thoughts quickly drifted back to when they'd both gone on their little excursion. It was fun, though Arakit had given Freekit a few scares throughout it. She liked Arakit and all, but she wasn't too sure if she would be a good option for being the leader. Her periwinkle gaze shifted to the others curious as to what they would say.
Darkkit, on the other hand, had watched Arakit walk over to them. The charcoal grey tom had felt a twinge of annoyance that his game was now over before he'd even gotten to play it. But, like most things the tom brushed it off, besides they still had Berrykit's idea of exploring outside the camp. Unlike Freekit he wasn't too familiar with Arakit, but he had no qualms of making her the leader after all she had gotten the leaf first. "Sure I don't care 's'long as we do somethin!" he replied his ears starting to twitch with impatience. It was then he noticed Owlkit, the she-kits snort catching his attention. Almost like he was an owl himself his attention quickly shifted to the she-cat that had been off to the side and just watching them. His brow quirking, "Oi! Didn't anyone ever tell ya it's rude to eavesdrop!" his voice obnoxiously loud as he called out Owlkit.
"It's hardly considered eavesdropping when you're all making more noise than a bunch of badgers... I'm sure the whole clan can hear you!" Owlkit retorted coolly, making no attempt at standing up. She flicked her tail lazily and met Darkkit's eyes with her own eyes filled with amusement. She would never understand why the other kits got so their pelts ruffled up over something as silly as a little leaf. If it was her, she would have never bother with it in the first place.
Whitekit, awoken by the buzz of young voices outside, pulled himself to his paws. After giving his nursery soft pelt a lick, he meandered over to the nursery entrance to see what was happening, cautious not to awake those yet to rise. He glanced around at the other kits curiously but dared not to approach, opting to linger in the entrance instead.
It seemed in a matter of moments the group of four had become surrounded by others, and it was hard for Berrykit to decide if this was a serious dent in her plans or a mere annoyance. The silent gazing of Whitekit and the, what she considered, rather condescending nature of Owlkit, made her nervous they would be little tattle tales, and Arakit, who she had already considered too brash, troubled her over the thought that someone like her would get them caught. Not that Darkkit had seemed idea in this plan either, but one extra variable could be coped with, but three? She tried to hide the half scowl that was forming on her maw. "Well," She gave a half glance at the small circle that had arrived. "Have we decided? Are we going to go?" The whole democratic processes, if she had intended it at all, had seemingly been brushed aside in both the anxiety of being caught and the speedy ascension of the moon into the higher heavens, which, the way she saw it, only increased the odds of more cats being awake, and even more chances of being caught.
She threw a sideways glance at Whitekit and Owlkit- already under the assumption that Arakit had made her joining in whatever they were doing relatively clear - sending a tacit question of, 'Are your coming or staying?' while being equally suspicious of them. The way Berrykit saw it, they were either narks or allies in her plan.
"Well, okay then." Whitekit mumbled to himself. After all, there were too many kits participating for them to all be confined to the nursery. The queens would go mad! And the Clan shouldn't be able to afford to hold back everyone's apprenticeships, right? Besides, he was doing this to better get to know the territory, so he was doing it for the good of the Clan. Nothing wrong with that. Having thought it over, he padded forward to join the others.

Darkkit gave a soft huff at Whitekit's remark his tail lashing to and fro, but before he could counter with his rebuttal Berrykti had chimed in. His blue gaze once again shifted from the far-off kit to the closer one his ears flicking. The she-kit had a point. The longer they stood her the more likely it would be that other cats would start waking up and all of them leaving camp undiscovered would become virtually impossible. With a twitch of his nose and a few anxious paw swipes at the ground, he let out an almost obnoxiously loud sigh, "Oh come on! Are we going or not!" his kittenish voice almost whining at the stagnant group of kits.
Freekit was also eager to get a move on. Though she kept her emotions inside, unlike the almost annoying actions of Darkkit. Her periwinkle eyes blinked as she looked at each kit before quietly whispering, "Okay, if your in say, uhm, uuuh, mouse?" The she-kit losing her confidence as she spoke her trail of thought going blank as she thought of something to say.
Ara becoming annoyed with the other kits flattened her ears. She head the sound of Freekit and when she told others to say 'mouse' she'd rather just go. "Alright those who want to explore the camp and beyond come with me" She spoked up and began to walk away from the kits. She didn't exactly have an exact direction to take but she was going to continue on. She needed to think and walking was one the best ways to help her think. After the dream she had she was anxious and almost felt like her heart couldn't get any faster. She needed this time to relaxe. With each paw step she went further from the nursery. A gust of wind would pick up slightly and blow her fur around, it was almost magical. She turned back to see if any other kits were following. "Come on!" She said in a playful hiss, hoping to not wake any more.
