Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Chim didn't notice, or if he did, he didn't care. The ginger tom led him onward, weaving through the undergrowth. A broken willow branch had fallen ahead of them, but he squeezed underneath with a wince and then turned back to check on the young cat.
The deputy wasn't thrilled by the idea of slowing down for a kit so he was pleased to see he was keeping up. He just wanted to get clean. He led him onward and closer to the river, then stopped by the edge and waded it, the current swirling crimson around him. "That's better," he muttered as it washed through his fur.
He washed the blood from his paws and muzzle and chest until he was dripping but clean, then glanced back at the kit. "Coming in? The current isn't too rough here, just be careful."
Chim raised a brow, then shrugged. Fine; if the kit didn't want to get in, that was his problem. He finished washing then waded out. "You know WaterClan cats are supposed to like water, right?"
Look, he wasn't against bringing outsider into their clan, but... this was why some cats were against it, and he couldn't argue. Chim huffed. "Great," he muttered, "what fun your mentor will have."
