SUNCLAN Littlebird tilted her head slightly as Mistyveil approached her, and despite everything she felt herself smile slightly. The raid on WinterClan had been Leatherstar's doing, and hearing her call her own clan-mates mouse-brained gave her a lot of satisfaction "Yes the raid on SunClan wasn't the most well thought out plan Leatherstar ever put into motion" she agreed. What she didn't say was that even through she had turned him away again and again, it still hurt her deeply to see Leatherstar lose a life "I am doing well, I had a difficult kitting but have recovered. My two kits are getting stronger and more rambunctious by the day" a warm purr rumbled in her throat Faith
NIGHTCLAN Turbulentpaw nodded, glad to have Brightpaw there to help him when his words got caught in his throat "NightClan. And yeah StarClan choose us to become our clan next medicine cats. We have been working really hard" indy
FALLCLAN Thrushstar thought for a moment. "I'm not sure. I've just got to constantly remind myself I'm leader, honestly." he said with a laugh. Although he was more excited about his leadership than he was nervous, he just didn't want his clan members to hate him. That was his worst fear. "I just hope they like me. And that I can lead them to greatness."
Mistyveil nodded along, she’d call her leader a tick more than a mouse brain, but it worked, sure.
She let out a chipper mrrow, "I think my recent litter is the same age as yours. Just one kit though, Bronzekit, he's my fifth litter."
Her gaze hardened, "Though I should say, Leatherstar is no longer leader now and neither is Sweetpine. I'd love to take credit for their sudden absence, but luck just turned out in my favor. Looks like whatever leader WinterClan gains next will be absent of any grudges that Leatherstar seemed to have on SunClan," Mistyveil said, "Can I confide in you about something I've been wanting to rant about for a while? You're my only friend in the whole world and... And I don't even know if you're my friend back, but you're all I have."
"They'll like you," Glowstar reassured, "I had that same worry, mainly because I lied to my entire clan about being DayClan born and became deputy with the goal of taking over DayClan and enslaving them for Primal Instinct. But when I told my clan the truth they still trusted me and I know whoever you are your cats see you even better than you see yourself."
Glowstar gave him a comforting pat on the shoulder with her tail before walking past him and then pausing again, "If you ever need help though you can always come to DayClan or if you want to hangout, we're an incredibly chill clan. Like," she shook her head, "Honestly you'd have to see it to believe it."
Ever since the Pride was established there was peace between borders. SunClan and NightClan cats got along with DayClan just fine and getting a bit too close to the borders was met by a polite reminder. No one got on each others toes. Thanks to the Regime helping DayClan gain freedom from SunClan they had been allowed to move freely beneath their territory. DayClan was almost as neutral as a gathering.
She frowned for a split moment at Coralreef's mention of her father not being excited to see her. She personally never met her own father but she supposed that she couldn't miss what she never had. She then nodded, "Oh yes. Now that most of the snow has melted, Dayclan is back in their original camp again. It's nice being home. Prey is coming out of hibernation and most of them are pretty plump and more kits are on the way. How about your clan?" She asked, referring to the kits since she had already asked about their prey source.
"Oh yes! I love kits," she assured her. "We lots all of our kits to the Ripple Cough, but we got more now! My aunt had some 'fore she died, they're so tiny and squishy and fun, I could just play with them forever, I hope they never get bigger! They're so tiny, I remember when they were barely twice the size of my paw. Oh and Meanderingwolf had her litter too, we've had a couple litters now, Hazelstorm even found some kits floating down a river! 'Course she died after she found them, so I guess that kinda undoes gaining one cat since we lost one, but hey we've got a new deputy now, it's s'okay. Did I use that right, s'okay? Is that how you say that? That's my first time saying that, s'okay."
DAYCLAN This was her first gathering, and Angelpaw couldn't manage to keep the excitement from her eyes. Of course, this was special. Even though she was always so put together, how was someone supposed to expect the first gathering not to be exciting? This was a chance to see the whole forest, to meet cats that would never be found in the field. Her gaze wandered the crowd. It would also be a good chance to see the family who had stayed back in SunClan, although that wasn't her primary objective...
BROOKCLAN There was a new sheriff in town, and it was clear that she was in charge as BrookClan weaved into the gathering. They were running late, but this was simply because she had had to send cats before her to make sure that Kerrigan had not been there. The threat had not been liquidated yet, and although she was decently convinced that loyalty was starting to shift to her, she intended to keep it that way.
"Enjoy yourselves, comrades," she meowed over her shoulder. "We have had a rough few weeks. You all deserve to have a good night."
With that, she released the BrookClan cats. She then strode up to where the other leaders sat. Tsar Tasman E'Clair seemed confident, even though this was her first brush with the Pride. Of course, she was almost sure that one of them was harboring Kerrigan. That meant there was a risk one of them would say something. Yet, they had no proof. The former Tsar wasn't here. It was their word against hers.
Tasman dipped her head to the others, but said nothing, yet.
FALLCLAN Thrushstar gave a thoughtful purr as she started to walk away. He was still unsure to trust her, yet, she lead an entire clan. Her Clan trusted her after that..? he thought to himself. Perhaps cats really could change. He would have to give it a longer thought.
Instead of socializing more, he waited, swishing his white-tipped tail around his paws. He felt a little nervous, knowing he would have to speak in front of all the cats within the Gathering. Did his Clan trust him to lead them to victory? He only hoped so.

SUNCLAN
"I didn't realize that you had kits around the same time" she smiled slightly, "perhaps one day our kits will get to meet here at a gathering" .However, as the conversation continued she struggled not to show the shock upon her face. Leatherstar was no longer leader of WinterClan? What happened? Was he ok? No she shouldn't care, but... Instinctually she put on her mask of indifference, only those that knew her best would be able to detect the slight signs of the emotions stirring underneath. She wasn't really sure herself what those emotions were. Worry? Anger? She took in a deep breathe, forcing herself to hold her tongue. She had so many questions that needed answering, but this was not the time or place.
She continued to listen, not sure how to respond. Was she Mistyveil's friend? She was fond of the she-cat, but they were not from the same clan. After a moment she nodded, after all she had nothing to lose by listening to the she-cats rant, and perhaps it would give her some insight as to what was going on in WinterClan "I suppose, are you sure I am the one you would like to tell?" Faith
She would rather not be cooped up in a nursery for more than six moons. The thought made her shudder. She was born to run and work. Being confined into camp and being restricted to what she could do made her skin crawl. However, the thought of kits made her feel warm inside. She wanted to have kits with Illuminatedpath, she just didn't want to be cooped up. She began to wonder what their kits would look like and what she would even name them. Though they hadn't really talked about it before. Perhaps she should mention it to him. What if he was feeling the same way but didn't want to ask her yet. She was glad Coralreef brought up kits. Maybe it was time for Windchaser and Illuminatedpath to start their family. Then she snapped back to their conversation, wondering how long she had paused, her mind caught on the thought of kits. "It is pronounce, O-k-ay" she purred, over pronouncing it so the she-cat would understand. She felt bad that they were away for so long but it seemed like they were adjusting well.
SPRINGCLAN @ian Eternalstar's eyes shifted from where they were staring off into space at the arrival of Brookclan. Mismatched eyes scanned the leader, the tsar who was an unknown to her. She only briefly knew of Brookclan, most of her knowledge second-hand gathered from her father during her time within his sphere of influence. But some might say his knowledge was gold, as he had been more involved within the beginnings of the monarchy than most knew.
She had considered, if all her schemes fell to pieces, perhaps that would be where she escaped to. It seems a place where she would feel right at home. But hopefully it would never happen, her grip within Springclan was only tightening. "Hello, I'm Eternalstar." She spoke, tone soft as she pushed to her paws and made her way over to Tasman, taking a seat a respectful distance from the other. Turning her focus on her, the other leaders forgotten.
“Okay,” she giggled, flicking her tail as said it a couple more times. “Okay, isn’t it funny I haven’t really said that before? I mean I’ve heard cats are okay before, but I’m usually GREAT or HAVING A WONDERFUL DAY not just okay. And when cats tell me to do things I’m normally like OKIE DOKIE SIR! OR MA’AM! instead of just being like ‘okay whatever.’ What do you say?” she chatted animatedly, having entirely missed that her new friend’s thoughts were somewhere else entirely.
Mistyveil breathed out what could have been distinguished as laughter, her crystalline blue and turquoise eyes glimmered a bit reflecting Littlebird's, "Positive."
"I've just been so mad lately at everything. I got away with murder for over a year and when I was found out I was imprisoned for murdering my entire family. So I start providing for the clan by giving birth to litters of kits for WinterClan to raise and in return I was rewarded with comfort and care. It was honestly a very nice life. But then Understar forced me to be a medicine cat and I had to take care of the biggest litter of kits I ever had in my life on top of figuring out how to be a medicine cat, all I knew how to do was handle deliveries, not herbs. And THEN LEATHERSTAR decides, hey Misty, love yah girl. How about you become an alchemist and communicate with the Gods. And apparently he adapted some insane religion and believed sacrificing cats would stop the spirits from bothering us. I mean what kind of leader is afraid of ghosts to the point that they murder cats? And do you know who had to kill those sacrificial cats? ME. So let's recap, I had to be a prisoner for murdering people. Then I'm released and am told I have to murder people or else I'm disloyal to my clan. So," Mistyveil breathed in slowly before shaking her head with a smirk across her lips, she laughed, "I ask, who is the sacrificial lamb and it's my daughter. Bad parenting you could say, but let's not forget I gave away these kits to WinterClan because I was a prisoner so I didn't raise her. They brain washed my daughter and expected me to murder her. They'd rather murder an innocent cat than deal with a few ghosts. So I refused and my idiotic brain washed daughter threw herself off a cliff and I was cursed with eternal hunger by some lame God. Ever since I've refused to be a messenger of the Gods and I hope that by the next generation the Gods die out because I murdered them by not sharing their word. All I can say Littlebird, is that I'm fed up."
She let out a shaky sigh, but suddenly her eyes seemed to smooth back over with the same expressionless look and her same faded cheery smile, "Thanks for letting me rant," Mistyveil said rolling her shoulders back, "Clans, you know, they just get on your nerves sometimes."

SUNCLAN Littlebird wasn't sure what to say. She knew that Mistyveil had been through a lot, but that... Well that was more than she had thought. I mean really what could you say to someone to help ease their burdens. She tilted her head slightly, just allowing the she-cat to speak. "You have been through a lot" She still remembered the fear that the white cats put into the hearts of all those whom dwelled in those mountains. It wasn't a fairy tale, but a threat that was very real. She had seen them before, though sacrificing innocent cats was a bit extreme. There were other ways of dealing with the spirits... "Perhaps we should speak more after the gathering? It isn't wise to speak on such matters where many ears might overhear"

SUNCLAN Littlbird dipped her head. She wasn't sure about the whole being a good friend thing, though she was worried about her former home. WinterClan had been through so much, and even though she was now apart of SunClan deep in her heart she still only wished the best for WinterClan. She didn't like all the changes these new leaders were making, but perhaps with Mistyveil she might be able to do something about it.
"Well that makes sense then because you know how to say it! How clever~" Coralreef purred. She luxuriously stretched out her hind legs to keep the blood moving through them and shook out her coat. "Okay, well, maybe now I'll say it too. That would be pretty funny, huh? We'd have the same catch phrase. Hey, maybe it can be our secret signal! Like spies! And only we will know it! Though I suppose other cats might say okay and that'll get confusing..."
Windchaser frowned at the mention of spies. Was she a spy? Is that why she brought it up? Or perhaps maybe she was just saying that their catch phrases relate to spies. She then shrugged, "I suppose. But that would be confusing. Maybe we should try another word?"
"Yeah, that's a good idea," she agreed. Her pale green eyes sparkled as she took the lack of objection to mean Windchaser was completely on board. "But what? We need something special, ordinary but insane, that nobody else will think of but we will know and it'll be special... like... yps! Yip-sh. It'sSpyBackwards," she explained, leaning closer and speaking quickly, her words blurring together. "PrettyCleverHuh?"
"Great! Yps it is," Coralreef declared with a purr. This was great, she was so excited to have her first friend in another clan! "So whenever I see you I'll just shout it out REALLY LOUD and then you'll know it's me, and you can say it too, and then everyone will know we're best spy friends!"
