Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
“Oh? Is that what you hear? I was sure it was from her father. He’s more adventurous from what I’ve heard. Wouldn’t you agree, Protectingshadows?” Berryfrost could play this game too. Though, she wasn’t really sure where Deerkit got her wild spirit from but she was growing into the name Deer.

A playful smile crossed Stongfang's face. "Well then," he conceded as he glanced over at Protectingshadows. He did take pride in being a bit adventurous although it did trouble him some that his daughter might take after him. He hoped she'd know the difference from being an adventure seeker and being just plain reckless. "Deerkit has it from both sides of her family. I guess that'll make her a real paw-full. I do hope she mellows some as she grows."
"You mean anything like Stonefang." Berryfrost hit her mate's shoulder and she skipped past him to walk with the other warrior. "What about you? How's life going?"
“Oh? No love interests?” Berryfrost could admit that she didn’t know much about the other warrior. Though he was older than her. She’d only been a warrior for about two years now and was never one to listen to gossip.

Stonefang smiled as he listened to his mate and clanmate conversing. "Come on now," he meowed playfully. "In all of EarthClan there's no one to your liking? Okay, I must admit I took the best she cat there is for my mate." He looked over at Berryfrost and smiled. "But there's got to be someone for you too."
“Tom, she-cat, EarthClan..another clan?” She knew a few cats that had lovers in another clan. They kept it quiet but she never cared. For as much as she preached the warrior code, she believed love would win over all. Berryfrost was a devote believer in StarClan and the warrior code, and made sure her kits knew the truth they spoke. But even she knew, with regards to love, that things like that didn’t matter.
He hummed thoughtfully at the question. “Nah. My duty is to my clan. Romance doesn’t make much sense to me, never has. Friends are great and all, but I have no desire in romance.”
“Oh?” It was the first she’d heard of that but to each their own. Berryfrost smiled, “well what about kits? There’s always a litter that needs a father figure in their lives.” There’s been a few litters in the past that had no family and had been merely left in the territory to the elements and nature’s tough love. Many of those would have benefited from a father or mother figure in their lives. Sure the clan took care of their own but it wasn’t always enough.

Stonefang was surprised to hear Protectingshadows' reply. He was the first tom he knew who felt that way. He gave his shoulder's a quick shrug as he walked and figured whatever made him happy was what's important.
“If Solsticestar comes to me with a litter, I’ll happily take them in. Romance may not be my thing, but I enjoy kits, and I can’t say I would mind taking care of some.” He gave a gentle smile at the thought.

"From one who has experience at being a father," Stonefang meowed, "I think you'd make an excellent one. And who knows? You just might get a chance. You know how from time to time some uncaring rogue dumps their kits off in our territory. It's a good thing we have frequent patrols or else many of those kits may die." The thought of abandoning his kits turned his stomach. How could any cat do that?
Berryfrost felt the same as her mate. Abandoning kits wasn't something she could ever imagine doing. She liked to think that mothers did it because they couldn't care for the little ones well and were trying to give them a better life. But even she knew that wasn't always the case. "Well, you should tell her your interested then, so the next litter found can be yours."
