Harriet sniffed all of the herbs around her housefolk "What all the plants in there are used for?" she thinked while she was walking around, she thinked of the group of cats that were travelling near her house, how many cats were so united? her siblings and her couldn't agree of nothing, how that many cats know where they where going all at the same time? They made that journey before?, she should had been asked, but if they were near her it can be a posibility to ask. She jumped at the fence and look back "Her Two-leg wouldn't worry if she was out a few minutes" so she walk up to the woods until she encounter a grey tabby she-cat; Fernweaver, she was recolecting some herbs, the thing that gave more curiosity to Harriet, she didn't look fierce for her so she tryed to not look dangerous. "Hi!, I'm searching for a group of cats do you see them?" She asked friendly hoping not having a bad reaction for the adult cat.
Fernweaver had been working pretty much non-stop since they had arrived to restock what was now her very own medicine cat's den. It was a strange task, especially because it had probably been so long since a clan had to start completely from scratch. At least the herbs seemed to be plentiful, she had decided, and she'd made quick work of locating all of the best places for each thing. She was still young, probably barely older than the other cat, and this was all so new to her. She was good at it, though, and her focus on her tasks was strong.
So strong that she didn't hear the other cat approach. When she heard the voice, the tabby jumped slightly and let out a noise that was relatively close to a yell, her eyes wide. "Ooh, you startled me there," she meowed with an apologetically, an easy smile on her face. "Now what was it you asked? A group of cats?" Her head tilted slightly. There better not be another group of cats walking through the territory. They'd just settled here, they didn't need a territory dispute already.
And then, the lightbulb went off in her head.
"Oh!" she meowed, realizing the obvious. "A group of cats! You must mean us! SunClan, I mean. I'm Fernweaver, the medicine cat of the group. Is there something I can do for you?"

Harriet blinked repeatedly she was so lucky!, she followed a group of cats with a minimal percentage of finding them and she literally gave a bump with one of them but she shaked her head, "a medicine cat" she reapeat the words of the she-cat, she was interested in that word, it was her second name?, she realize that Fernwaver the medicine cat was waiting for her answer "Oh, yeah I just wanted to know..."In that moment she realize she was there for curiosity and she haven't prepare an argument to justificate her presence in that forest so far away from her house.
It was still strange to hear herself referred to as a medicine cat, even when she herself had just admitted her role. Only a moon ago, she'd been an apprentice, and now, all of SunClan's medical care fell squarely on her shoulders. It was easier when they were in the Regime, at least then she had some assistance from the guiders if she needed it. Now, well.... Her whiskers twitched.
Fernweaver blinked a few times, waiting an extra moment to make sure that the other cat wasn't going to any other information. Satisfied that she wasn't, the feline began to speak again. "Oh, well, if you just wanted to know, then I'm happy to confirm your suspicion! We're settling into the territory nicely; maybe I could tell Oceanstar that we had a visitor? What's your name?" she asked, her voice kind. Fernweaver found the other's curiosity endearing; after all, the grey tabby was driven by a similar curiosity. She wanted to know everything she possibly could, so how could she fault another cat for being curious?

Harriet felt nice when the other cat could comprehend her without saying it but when the she cat started saying all that things Harriet felt a bit fuzzy and she couldn't catch all the information but she tried to start to the most easy, her name, "I'm Harriet and I life near here with my siblings and who's Oceaneyes?" She had a lot of other questions like why are they settling in this territory?, they had an old one or they are news? or even worse like the grumpys cats who didn't have a two-leg?, well she could ask them while Fernweaver the medicine cat was doing her job but then she asked herself why is she doing that? Did the other cats like her do the same?
She could sense that the she-cat had many questions, and Fernweaver couldn't blame her. If she hadn't been born into a clan, everything would be confusing to her, too. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Harriet," she meowed with a slight purr, her yellow gaze friendly. She tilted her head slightly as she tried to figure out where in the story she should start to explain SunClan to her. "Oceaneyes is our leader, the top cat in our group. She's the one who makes all of the decisions, and it was her and Frostcry, our deputy, that found this place for us. Our last territory..." Her voice trailed off. Their last territory had been destroyed by a volcano, but that felt like a lot to tell a cat. "Well, let's just say we had to leave it due to some... unforeseen circumstances." Fernweaver let out an awkward chuckle, her tail twitching at the tip. "We had been staying in the tunnels with the Regime," did Harriet know what a Regime was? "But, there came a point where we wanted our own space again. Oceanstar and Frostcry went out on a hunt for new territory, a place we could once again call our home, and, well, now we're here, which means I think we're officially your new neighbors."

Harriet eyes glimed with curiosity and admiration , that cat was answering almost all her questions without asking that much but she had a lot more but she was only to told her the most important of them, "One superior cat?, Isn't it a bit dangerous?" She raised her tail thinking about all the wrong things could happend with the leadership or the deputy but she shaked her head and ask another thing "What are you doing, why did you need that plants? I have a lot in my two-leg house!" She changed the conversation to Ferweaver the medicine cat wouldn't think much about it her hunch.
"Maybe," she meowed with a shrug. "It's always been like that, though. It makes things easier when there's only one point person. When you have as many cats living with you as a clan does, some organization is helpful," she meowed with a slight purr. "And, plus, she's got tons of support." Fernweaver quite liked the SunClan leader, and who was she to reject who StarClan had chosen? She'd never liked the old religion, much, anyways.
She then glanced back down to her herbs, letting out a breathy laugh. "Oh, these?" she asked, motioning to the pile with her tail. "I'm collecting them so that I can help SunClan with them. See this one," she pointed to some blackberry leaves. "If you chew them up, they can be used to soothe a bee sting!" She patted the herb with her paw. "We don't have two-leg doctors in the clans like you all do. The only one who provides medical treatment is me," she meowed, her whiskers twitching. "Plants are how I do it." Her head then tipped to the side, her own curiosity stoked by her words. Her two-legs had a garden? Of course, Fernweaver wasn't one to steal, but it would probably be good for her to know what was near the territory in case of emergency, right? She still wasn't super familiar with SunClan's new flora... "If you lead me to them, I can tell you what medicine cats use the plants for?" she offered, trying to sound as casual as possible. She wasn't completely successful, though, and excitement still flickered through her voice.

Harriet listen carefully it was so interesting how a bounch of cats would create that complicated system of class and live with it, how they keep it in future generations? It will be compicated, but what is she going to question about if she isn't in their colony, Harriet was suprised about them only having one medicine cat, well after that she thinked it was Fernweaver surname but leaving behind that it would be so difficult for only one cat to take care of all of the other for herself but she just stop thinking of that to answer Ferweaver.
"Of course I can guide you" She start walking a bit and looking back to let know at Fernweaver that she can follow her, "My owner don't have much plants but near Witch house is a beautiful plant that usually the two-legs don't want to get near it...it was...uhhh...ah! Fleur call it Rosinweed it's too delicated but if you don't want to get screamed of the two-legs I can get it for you if you don't need it but in the garden of my Two-legs I have catmint and he don't care if I eat some so I think you can too!" Harriet smiled guiding Ferweaver to her garden.
When she saw the surprise on Harriet's face, Fernweaver laughed quietly. "Oh, normally there are two of us. It's just, well..." She winced slightly. "My mentor has... moved on, and I haven't taken an apprentice yet. That's what we call cats who train under other, older cats," she explained.
She couldn't help but feel a tingle of excitement when the other offered to take her there. "Who's Fleur?" she then asked, unable to contain her curiosity. She knew practically nothing about the life of a kittypet. "Rosinweed can help to cure poisoning," she then meowed. "I've never had the reason to use it personally, but I imagine it'll be more common. A territory like this has bound to be slithering with snakes." She shuddered at the thought, following Harriet closely. "Catmint!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide. "That's pretty rare for us wild cats. Incredibly helpful, too. It's one of the only known cures for greencough, and let me just tell you, green cough spreads like wildfire." As she padded along, she was careful to memorize the way between SunClan and Harriet's garden, just in case she ever needed it. "It's very kind of you to show me, by the way," the she-cat meowed.

"Oh, that have more sense" Harriet replyed, she asked herself what happend to the other medicine cat, but she couldn't stay thinking all day and need to start hear at the medicine cat if she wants to know something about her new neighbours she should hear carefully."Oh, Fleur! She's my sister she lives near here like my brother; Witch though Fleur two-legs don't let her go outside much but she knows about some things that her two-legs talk, I don't know much how she understand them, probably is because she stay more time at home than me, I don't know" Harriet arrived near her house and jumped the fence and with the tail she called Fernweaver to get up to the fence.
"Don't worry you can come here whenever you want and take some of it, my two-legs don't worry about other cats without two-legs eat some of them, we have so much" She jumped down the fence and start smelling the catmint "It smells so good!, but we have a Clethra, Holly, Daylily, Caladium and Lavander if some of it can help you, I suppose you have more job only being one, no?"
"You don't all live together?" Fernweaver meowed, her voice sounding shocked. She couldn't imagine having Mintmelancholy, Smokespiral, or Cashmerecloud further from her than one den over. Even that had taken some getting used to, as before she had moved into the medicine cat's den, they'd always slept in one big nest. "It seems kind of sad, no offense," she meowed with a blink.
When she motioned for her to join, Fernweaver blinked. There was something inherently stressful about going into a two-leg garden: she didn't want to end up a kittypet, after all. But, she was beginning to like Harriet, and she thought it would be rude to get cold feet now. After one last moment of hesitation, the medicine cat jumped to the fence, letting her eyes take in the garden.
"Wow," she meowed, sort of dreamily. "It's beautiful!" And she could use them whenever she needed to? She'd have to tell Oceaneyes when she got home. "You're too kind," she purred, before hoping down besides her. She was first drawn to the holly, her eyes widened. She'd never seen a whole plant before. "You better be careful with these," she warned. "Their berries are the hardest to cure the effects of, speaking of poisoning." Fernweaver then turned back in her direction, offering a smile.
"Yes, that's correct! My siblings give me a hard time because of how busy I am," she meowed with a blink. "Once we get settled, hopefully it won't be too bad, but I'll be relieved when I get a chance to take an apprentice of my own," she admitted.

"Nop, we don't live together, my old two-legs separated us in different homes but we live so near each other so that's not a problem" She started to search for some plants that Fernweaver could use while she waited for her to enter the garden, after all her two-legs don't use that plants for nothing only to stay there and take care of them so if some cat needed, why is she going to hesitate to give it to them?
She stirred her ears hearing the fact about the holly, she've never know that her two-legs could plant something poisoning in their garden, but she won't keep asking this and continue, "Do you need something in particular? I could go and see if in the garden of Fleur or Witch have it" Surely they won't be angry with her to help a cat who's having so much work.
"Huh," she meowed, not really knowing what else to say. It seemed like a silly system, to her, separating families and all. But, to each their own, she supposed. "That's good that you aren't far, though. I'd hate to be separated from my siblings for too long."
Fernweaver smiled at her. "You're too kind," she repeated with a blink. "Honestly, catmint was one of the ones that are hardest to find in the forest, so you've already done more than I can thank you for," she admitted with a blink. "It often only grows in two-leg gardens, so finding it naturally can be ... a problem. Which is particularly concerning given that it's a good treatment for greencough..." Her voice trailed off, before she re-focused. "Sorry, got a little in my head there. Would one of you by chance have chamomile? They're little white flowers."

Harriet watched Ferweaver thoughtfully, they live in the same house as their siblings?, how painful it would be!, just imagine Witch tread in our beds surely Fleur will rip his ears off, she blinked when Fernweaver talked "Greencough? I've never heard of that" It was dangerous? She shaked her head when she heard the chamomile, the two legs of Fleur was the only thing they plant what she don't know was why they need so much of that plant, it have a medicinal treatment for two-legs too?
"Oh, yeah! The two-legs of Fleur have a lot usually they don't like when I approach to it but they are now with Fleur going to the vet so there is no problem" Harriet runs to jump above the fence to get into the garden of Fleur and collect some of that plant without letting Fernweaver to talk.
Fernweaver let out a soft laugh. "Probably for the best," she admitted. "It's the most contagious illness in the forest. Once one cat gets it, it spreads like lightning. Clans often have to set up isolation wards and everything. It's super hard to treat, so when it comes...." Her voice trailed and she shuddered. Harriet didn't need to know what happened when it comes. "Luckily, it's relatively rare," she then added. "I haven't seen a case of it in SunClan since I was born!"
Once the medicine cat realized what was happening, she quickly scampered off behind her. "What's a ... vet?" Fernweaver asked with wide eyes. Was it another one of those huge two leg monsters that she saw that one time? Worse, was it a type of dog Whatever it was, she didn't like the sound of it, she decided.

Harriet rapidly reach the garden of Fleur, in it's sides where a lot of chamomile and she was hopping that she could cut a bit and give it to Fernweaver but now that she was there she let Fernweaver to do whatever she wants "So here it is, take all that you want but I think it would be hard carrying all of those you alone, no? but if you need more or you don't have more space to take it, you know where it is" She wasn't sure if Fernweaver could came whenever she want for the only reason that the two-legs of Fleur could came back at any time.
"A vet! They're evil two-legs!" As she watched Fernweaver hesitate she saw the need of explain to her "Well, don't worry about them they're so away from here, our two-legs take us in the monsters and usually they made that for long trips so you don't need to worry" She never understand why her two-legs have the need to take her there, it was painful when they used that pointed stem.
She carefully took a few herbs, before smiling at Harriet. "I was actually wondering if maybe you'd be willing to come back with me? Of course, if your two-leg would be upset," she winced slightly at the idea of needing permission from a two-leg, "you certainly don't have to, but if you're still curious about SunClan, I could bring you to camp and show you around? I'm sure Oceanstar wouldn't mind." And, if the leader did, Fernweaver could always just explain that Harriet was a friend, and was going to continue to be a friend, and that was just how it was. "It would be a good way for you to learn more about us~" she then added, remembering that Harriet had been looking for SunClan the entire time.
Her eyes widened into saucers as Harriet explained the vet. "That sounds horrible! Those monsters are so scary, I'm so glad I never have to be in one." She shudddered again. "I know that a lot of warriors can be sort of ... mean to kittypets, but I've always found that you all have a particular strength. It takes a lot to willingly deal with two-legs."

Harriet eyes glimed with excitment "That would be perfect! and my two-leg wouldn't mind if I don't get back so late before night" She was so excited that forgot that Fernweaver was with her mouth full of plants "Um...you don't mind if I help you to get half of your herbs back to your camp" She didn't want to show Fernweaver she could be rude, what she could think about that? Is she going to think bad of her from that thing?, she shaked her head and jumped to the fence to get out of her garden, she wanted to think that she would meet Sunclan a new site!.
"Where is it?" She stopped in the middle of the walk burning with shame, she notice that she was ahead when she didn't know where the camp was.
"Perfect, I can make sure you're back by then," she meowed with a kind smile and a flick of her tail. "Of course, thank you. It would be a lot for just me and I was hoping you'd offer," she then continued. "You're a very kind cat, Harriet. We're lucky to call you our neighbor."
She followed out of the garden before offering a purr of amusement. "Follow me!" she meowed around the bundle of herbs. "We're just settling down, so pardon any chaos in camp," she then added, moving in the right direction. "And don't you worry if anyone gives you any looks. They shouldn't, because you're with me, but just in case. They don't mean anything by it, it's just been a hard few months. Our cats are naturally a little weary."
