Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. "You're not that much fun," Pondkit muttered, scowling down at her. He stared after the bird longingly, then forced himself to look away. "What if it lands, like, right in front of me?"
Pondkit beamed. The white-and-grey tom took a few steps back along the branch, then launched himself and pounced, spiraling through the area mostly in her direction.
His forepaws touched her shoulder and tangled in her fur and his hindpaws swung beneath her. Grunting, he gripped her harder, then hauled himself up onto her back.
"Okay." Pondkit stood up and braced his forepaws against the back of her skull, standing up on her shoulders. For a moment he stared around him, awed; then he scrambled off and leaped to the ground.
