Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
While Moonpaw had tried to hold back the smile, Wolfriot didn't. "That was fantastic!" he exclaimed, leaping to his paws. "Now as you get older and bigger, you just gotta work with it and learn how your body moves. It just takes practice, but you'll be a fantastic hunter in no time." There was nothing as rewarding as teaching the young cats of the Clan. It almost made him want to have kits of his own to train.

The tom nodded excitedly, his chest puffed out at the praise. "Do you really think so?" he grinned, feeling giddy himself. The tom was practically rolling and bouncing on his paws. "Do you have any fighting tips to give me too?"
"Well if you rear up," Wolfriot said, rocking back onto his hind paws and giving a few swipes into the air, "keep your weight on your hind legs then. It'll keep you grounded." Dropping back onto all fours, he nodded to Moonpaw and meowed, "Don't forget about your tail either. Helps with balance."

With a mischievous grin, he did exactly as Wolfriot said, before swiping at the warrior's flank with a laugh, both shy as if tempting fate and cheeky as he usually was. It seemed as if fighting came a lot more naturally with Moonpaw than hunting.
"See, you've got it!" the large tabby meowed, a laugh echoing his words. "You'll be a great warrior in no time, maybe even better than me," Wolfriot chuckled, giving the young tom a hefty swipe to the shoulder. "I'm always here when you need someone to spar with."

Moonpaw beamed at the older cat. "Do you really think so?" he asked excitedly, before giving him a shy look. "Do you mind if we...try some training now?"

He immediately scrambled into a stance, legs spread out enough to keep his balance but trying to stay light on his toes like Sagepaw had mentioned. He eyed the tom, as if trying to figure out where exactly to hit first, or perhaps, where the other cat would try to tackle him first. He looked up expectantly, as if wondering whether to make the first move or not.
Not wanting to take it easy on the young tom, Wolfriot slid into a crouch and curled his lip, arching a brow. He circled around the young tom, though turned quickly and started walking the other way, his steps mimicking a snake bobbing its head.

Moonpaw almost giggled at the way Wolfriot looked, out of nervousness or humour, it wasn't clear. It seemed as if the other cat was scrutinizing him, staring him down, and Moonpaw decided that the longer he waited, the more he was opening himself up for an attack. Without a word, he immediately lunged at Wolfriot's paws, trying to trip the older cat over.
