Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
THE PLOT: One night during a meteor shower a massive meteorite hit the gathering located at the heart of all clans. The very next day the clan cats awoke, each with super power abilities, this causes massive havoc. Some clans try to kidnap the most powerfully mutated cats, other cats try to conquer all the clans with their new found powers, some have very small powers that they are bitter about. Regardless, the cats have changed forever and clan life will never be the same again.
- Please label your rps with "NY" at the front of the subject line like, "NY: Insert Title"
- Your cats can each have ONE super power. That means no one can be the avatar and be like, "I control all four elements!" But if your super power is fire and you learn to control the heat of lightning that's totally cool!
- You can create NY rps any time before February. Once February begins you can no longer create these event rps, but can continue rping any ongoing NY rps should they extend into February
This is an opportunity for you to just have fun and create unique crazy scenarios you've never been able to create before on Classic! ^-^
If you want to post your open NY rps in this thread so people can notice them faster feel free too! Also PLEASE share your characters super powers, even if you're not participating because honestly I think it would just be so much fun to see your creativity and what kind of super powers each of your characters would have!
I don't have all my characters powers figured out yet, but here's what I got down so far. Also cats can share the same powers so don't worry if other people "took your idea" xD

Characters and Powers:
Funk E'tan (primal instinct) Emotional Vampire // the power to feed off the emotions of others. specifically negative emotions. while he does gain sustenance from this, he mostly does it for his own pleasure in watching others suffer. of course, he combines this with his drugging to lead to him having a consistent source of nutrition. tho he also feeds off all the negative thoughts others have of him. definitely has it because of his inability to accept criticism and love of others suffering.
Lorelei Manina (primal instinct) Dark Angel // a parallel to her sister Fia Cendrillon, lorelei is a mischievous servant of an unknown higher power. she's gotten even taller and her fur longer, exceptionally beautiful. she has kept her wings, but they are splotched like her calico pelt. her main other power is purification, able to clean almost anything she touches. however, she over purifies things to where they become more basic and even childlike. definitely has it because of how stuck she is as a child and having the ability to turn the world into what she sees.
Goldenphantom (dayclan) Illusion Manipulation // the ability to manipulate illusions. she can also create and shape them, allowing her to make others see what she wants them to see. unsurprisingly, she doesn't really use it for evil, using it instead to make herself look more competent / cover her insecurities and to ward off others from disturbing her carefully crafted peace. tends to overuse her powers if things don't go as she wants and gets desperate. definitely has it because of her fear of change and to block out her unhappy past
Burningpaw (sunclan) Werewolf // either under the moon or because he gets too angry, burningpaw will transform into a large and overly fluffy wolf. he goes into a beast state, not able to be calmed or be consoled until he is sated. afterwards, he gets terribly sick to where he can't move for maybe a day. he'll also have no memory of his time as a wolf. definitely has it because i want there to be a werewolf and his explosive anger and attempts to control it
i've been re-reading worm recently so lemme try give my characters some worm-esque powers but less horrifying
peachblush ( dayclan ) → has a powerful healing ability that can cure any ailment or disease with a single touch, but at the cost of inflicting said ailments on the next closest cat aside from peachblush himself. tries to pass his power off as just being cute, due to fear someone may try and trick him into misusing his power. his power definitely has nothing to do with his guilt over failing to keep both springclan and absum lux safe, and the feeling of fixing one thing only for another to fall apart.
yumemi ( lkr ) → absurdly floofy fur that she can harden and fire off as prehensile spikes. because her fur grows ridiculously fast as a side effect of her power, she routinely has to shed these 'spikes' by firing them off into the distance, sometimes accidentally hitting other cats far off in the distance. and also she has no friends now because she kept accidentally spiking them. her power definitely has nothing to do with the fact that she distances herself from her relationships by pushing or needling the other party too hard.
saffron-tyke ( rr ) → has a pocket dimension in his stomach, and can store things inside it by consuming it. unfortunately the stuff he stores degrades over time, kind of like it's being dissolved by stomach acid, but that probably doesn't mean anything, right? his power compels him to eat and store as much as he can, which isn't gr8 considering that cats tend to frown on cats who steal prey, or steal in general. his power definitely has nothing to do with that time that he got stranded outside the regime's tunnels with no food to eat as a young kit.

GOSSAMER ALESSANDRA rr tychokeneis } darling gossy is a girl who likes to take incredibly risks, and as of now, lady luck has always been on her side. this is because she's a tychokenetic, able to manipulate the energy fields that cause events to occur or not to occur. this is unfortunate for everyone else around her; after all, if she's prfoundly lucky, that means others have to be profoundly unlucky. otherwise the universe would lose its balance. gossamer's talent does have some limits, though. after all, she has to be able to fathom the outcomes that she wants to will into existence, and some things seem unimaginable.
DALEY rr alchemic transmutation } a guider by day, an alchemist by night. cats have always wondered why daley has always been a collector of material objects. it makes perfect sense, though, when you consider his power. you see, daley is a alchemist, with the ability to turn silver into gold, the like. his cavern of objects, then, gives him plenty of options on potential transmutations. he has very limited interest in transmuting material objects into other material objects, though. he has a much greater interest in living transmutation. although this may make him a skilled guider, it also makes him incredibly dangerous. after all, transmutation demands things of equal value, and the value of a life is quite high.
DARIA rr amnesia induction } when she was young, she was constantly mocked for forgetting things so easily. they called her absent minded, and perhaps she was. perhaps, though, the universe was just trying to foreshadow. after all, when she grew of age to develop a power, she learned to make people forget. she has two primary ways to make this happen. the first is through touch. if you allow her to touch you, you are setting yourself up to be a victim of amnesia. her other way is if you look her in the eye for too long. of course, no one knows this; after all, she can just make people forget her ways. however, her power is limited. she can only make a victim forget something in which she was directly involved, or that occured within the last three nightfalls.
Stormyblizzard~Winter~ Weather manipulation, much like Storm from X-men, will her emotions be in control or will she be able to keep her new powers in check... let's find out.
Tatteredraven~Fall~ Self duplication, can you figure out which one is the real thing?
Ignatius~RR~ healing abilities, confident and a tad cocky, he is an excellent healer and now his abilities go far beyond just herbs.
Howlingwolf~Moon~ werewolf, he already has the looks down but now he has obtained the power that comes with it.
Enchantedkit~Winter~ Siren song, The power to emit irresistible sound that lures anyone who hears it towards the user. Sub-power of Sound Manipulation. (Unlike a Siren though, she does not kill, she honestly doesnt even understand why everyone is so captivated with her, clueless of her powers)
probably never actually going to rp any of this, i just enjoy thinking about these
glaniur - nullification // all powers within a certain radius of glaniur are nullified. also grants him immunity to mind altering abilities and such hystericplague - organic manipulation // with a touch, hysteric can make injuries knit themselves back together, or the opposite pumpkinkit - glutton // can literally eat anything. absolutely no different than how she normally acts. littlelamb - extreme luck // will accidentally avoid bad situations, things always seems to go in his favor
Summersolstice - Pyrokinesis Soaringbird - Air/Wind Manipulation Turtlepaw - Water Manipulation (gives new meaning to cry me a river XD) Mysterypaw - Shadow Manipulation Knightpaw - Super speed Rubyflame - Gaze of Truth (when you lock eyes, and she's focusing she can push out the truth. Can be harder for cats who have a very strong will) Crimsonrose - Super Soldier Cinnamonsavage - Devil's tongue (Can use his words to inflict damage, or cause various results)
