Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
In this thread, BrookClan attacks EarthClan! They will succeed in defeating the clan, and EarthClan will be divided into two different groups and put under BrookClan control. Don't worry, this won't last forever, though!
Kerrigan's eyes were smug as she waltzed closer and closer to the EarthClan camp. The felines of BrookClan walked several paces behind. Despite the Tsar's calm demeanor, it was clear that these cats were not as chilled about the circumstance as she was. Of course, she could not particularly blame them. She had warned each cat in the group that there would be bloodshed tonight. Of course, there would be bloodshed. This was war. But, she had also made them a promise: BrookClan would rein victorious. They would be on top, and EarthClan would be theirs. She had waited for the perfect moment for this attack, an attack that she had been planning for months now. All she had needed was the right time; it was finally here. Moosestar was young and naive in his leadership; she was absolutely sure he would not expect this, even though BrookClan and EarthClan tensions had been high for months.
"Remember, comrades. Do not use your claws until I wave my tail, unless they attack before I do. We come first as diplomats that are taking what is rightfully ours. Once I wave my tail or EarthClan draws the blood of a fellow comrade, all is fair in war. Remember, Aerial Team," she glanced back to Cynder who was at her right side in absence of boyar. "Your job is to secure the nursery. Do not lay a single claw on any of the queens or kittens. If any of them gets hurt, you will be executed without question. We are not savages. However, prevent their escape."
The grey cat nodded to the Tsar, who continued to speak.
"Comrades, some felines will need to block the entrances of the camp. This is siege warfare; we will keep the EarthClan cats in that camp until they submit to us. Do not let a single cat out of the camp." The Tsar blinked twice, before sighing.
It was late at night, but they had yet to see an EarthClan border patrol, or any EarthClan cat. Of course, this was intentional. She had sent reconnosance to learn exactly the patterns of the EarthClan cats to make this as effective as possible. They were stupid, stupid cats, the EarthClan folk. So very predictable.
She looked back to her clan and offered a wide smile to them.
"We will be victors tonight, comrades."
With that, the BrookClan army reached the EarthClan camp...

It was odd, to hear the Tsar speak. Despite her many moons in Brookclan, whenever the Acecoop thought of a leader, she could only ever picture her mother. Through Roman silver eyes, Shiva watched Kerrigan through a narrowed gaze. What struck her as even more odd was hearing Kerrigan speak of sparing the kits -- her mother would never have ordered such a thing. In fact, Vera would likely have encouraged the slaughter of the innocent.
Her long black claws slid from their sheathes, puncturing the icy ground in anticipation. This battle would be her first; she had not been present for the Moonclan Devastation. Despite her position as a healer, her heritage as a savage preceded her. Over the months, her specialty had begun to bloom, concentrating around the manipulation of anatomy; the most primitive form of surgery -- more like butchering -- was her area of interest. How fitting, for a cat spawned from the devil herself.
She met Kerrigan's gaze with an emotionless one of her own; her bloodlust was well contained -- and recently satisfied, as the Tsar knew too well.
Kerrigan's gaze slid to the acecoop and she felt a chill run down her spine. This was her wildcard. All of the other felines in the group could be expected to behave as if they were not savages, but with Shiva, the Tsar was unsure if such could be expected out of her.
"You are here not as a fighter," she reminded the feline, her gaze narrowed for the first time that night. She had radiated confidence up until this point, the point where she truly anticipated the behavior of the heir of Vera E'tani. Was it a mistake to bring her at all? She supposed this could be the case, but Kerrigan had understood that not bringing along both medical staff could have been a matter of life and death for the felines that she was in control of. "Do not draw blood unless it is in defense."
There was a warning to her voice, one she hoped the cat would understand. Enough felines were already suspicious over Shiva, it would be suicide to make them even more so by freely murdering ofthers, even under the pretense of battle.
From a short distance away, Elisio watched his daughter talking to Shiva.It would be a lie to say that he, like many of his Clanmates, trusted Shiva completely; however, if Kerrigan saw potential in her, then he wouldn't question it. She had always been better than him at that sort of thing, anyway. He was getting on in years, but he was still a loyal warrior, and wouldn't dare take the coward's way out and stay at the sidelines.
Sagecloud wasn't feeling so lucky. He'd lost most of his family during a battle with Primal Instinct, and had never been that great of a fighter; still, he'd gained a fair bit of confidence lately after he'd made his first real friend, and wasn't experiencing his usual heart palpitations that came with the threat of battle. Perhaps it was possible for a coward like him to change after all.
AS SOON AS AN EARTHCLAN CAT REPLIES, WE CAN ASSUME THEY HAVE MADE IT TO EARTHCLAN CAMP.
"You ready for this, Sageypoo?" asked a she-cat as she shifted her weight at Sagecloud's side. Perhaps it was a problem that Serena seemed to helicopter to his side all of the time. It proved that she also didn't have friends, for one, and for two, it was just kind of weird to be as demanding of someone else's time as she was, wasn't it? Oh, well, it wouldn't change her behavior either way, so what was the point of worrying?
Lindon glanced at his father as he watched the interaction between the two powerful cats. "I'm surprised that Kerrigan let you come, Father," he meowed to Elisio, his tone cautious. "I would have expected her to make you stay home." This wasn't meant to be an insult to his father, but Lindon had observed that Kerrigan had a deep love for their father. Why, then, was she putting him in danger?
Moosestar stepped into the clearing, his eyes scanning over the patrol of cats that strolled into his camp, completely unchaperoned by a patrol at that. The fur along his spine started to ruffle but, he forced it to lay flat. He would have a talk with Solsticesong later about why an entire Brookclan patrol had managed to stroll right into their camp without a single cat noticing them.
"Greetings Kerrigan" the large tom meowed smoothly. "What brings brings you all this way?" His tail flicked irritably behind him and he forced himself to keep it still. He hadn't been a clan cat, or leader very long but, even he knew that typically patrols waited at the boarder for an escort if they desired a meeting with the leader.
She looked back at her batallion, offering them all one quick nod to make sure they were ready. If they weren't, at this point they better get ready. She then turned to Moosestar, her hazel eyes glittering in the light given off by the sliver of the moon.
"We have come to deliver a message. EarthClan is from this point onward under BrookClan occupation. The territory is now ours, and we will be dividing your warriors into two groups and separating you. Each half will be under constant supervision."
She said everything so casually, a smile painted on her face. Her eyes glimmered in amusement.
"You have two options with how to process this information. The first option would be to simply submit. Of course, this is the most logical solution and it will save your men from bloodshed. If you choose not to submit immediately, the second option is to be forced into submission. The choice, dear Moosestar, is yours."
Solsticesong darted up beside Moosestar, eyes dark. A low snarl resonated from her chest, quiet enough that not everyone could hear it. The new deputy glanced at Bloodrose and Crystalfire. "Go find everyone. Round up all the warriors you can. Alert anyone in the dens." The two dashed off, one leaving camp and the other alerting those in dens.
"By the looks of your deputy, it doesn't look like you want to play nice. Oh, well." Kerrigan let out a laugh, her eyes narrowed. She fought the urge to flick the tip of her tail right there, to let her army lay siege. She had decided that she would wait for Moosestar himself to make a statement, however long that would take, before she assumed the worst. "It's very unfortunate, though, that it appears it will have to come to bloodshed. We were planning on being civil if you let us. Oh, well."
Moosestar's ear twitched irritably at the sudden hostile reaction from his deputy. 'So much for playing it cool' he thought to himself, however his demeanor remained calm as ever. It took every ounce of self control in his being not to openly laugh in Kerrigan's face at her feeble demands. As if he was going to roll over and submit that easily. He may be young but, he was certainly not the weak-minded fool that the Brookclan leader clearly thought he was.
"With such foolish demands as this Kerrigan, It was never going to end in any other way. I will give you one chance to take back your words, take your clan and return home. There's no need for innocent blood to be shed here." His hazel eyes gleamed defiantly in the dim star-light.
If he would have laughed at her, she would have taken her claws and flayed open his throat without remorse. She was not afraid to fight dirty; in fact, murder always seemed like it was on the Tsar's radar. His self-control saved him his life, even if he didn't realize it. Still, he called her demands foolish, which caused the she-cat to twitch her tail in frustration. He wouldn't know what that meant, but it was the all-clear to attack. Of course, her felines did not have to respond immediately. They could wait until the leader's finished discussing. However, they no longer needed to. They could attack as they deemed fit.
"Did I stutter? Was I unclear? I thought I had given you the options in the least complex way possible. Taking my clan home was never an option. We do not bow to children."
The queen heard the commotion and peered out from around the corner of the nursery. Her ears pinned back, seeing the legion that awaited them, and curled her tail protectively around her four young kits. They wouldn't hurt the newborns, would they? Breezestep would fight with everything she had to keep her little family safe, but she could only do so much. Still, she knew Moosestar had no other option than to fight. Closing her eyes, the grey-and-white she-cat ducked back into the den, praying her mate would be safe. StarClan had cursed him, but surely they wouldn't be so cruel as to take him from her right after they started a family?
By now many of the warriors previously asleep in the warrior den were slowly, sleepily rising from their nests, having been roughly shaken from their sleep by Crystalfire. Murmurs of confusion arose by their clanmate's haste and worry in waking them; something was going on, and it probably wasn't good. One by one, warrior after warrior cautiously emerged from the den, unknowing of the chaos that was soon to disturb their peaceful night.
Rookback was one of the first to exit into the clearing; the slender raven-black tom taken completely aback by the appearance of another clan in their camp, staring at the Brookclan warriors lined up ahead of him with wide, blue eyes. He found his gaze drifting to where Moosestar stood, standing defiantly against them...but with clear uncertainty in his eyes. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on here. Behind him, Stalkerjaw observed their surroundings with a much calmer mindset, the light-grey tom's muscles already tensing in preparation of a fight. "War..." he murmured to himself in a rough voice, though loudly enough for any Earthclan warriors around him to hear.
Creekghost had stopped dead in his tracks as soon as he recognized the size of Brookclan's group, each cat seeming restless and itching for a fight. War? No. No. No no no no no. The young tom glanced over at the nursery in a panic; his mate was in there, his newborn kits were in there! What would Brookclan do if they got into that den?! The white tom grit his teeth; he couldn't let that happen! He wouldn't let anyone hurt them!
