Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Berryfrost paused at the river, it was her first times out of camp in a while. It felt good to leave once again but how camp called her home, and right back to the nursery. Though, her kits were all apprentices or warriors now, her oldest daughter was a mother. Seeing Deerpaw’s kits, her grandkits was always a blessing. The older queen just wished that she’d waited a bit before becoming a mother. StarClan had other plans though it would seem.

Upon hearing a sound to her right, Lilyfrost turned her head and saw Berryfrost standing just downstream from where she sat. I see I'm not the only one who wanted to escape the confines of the nursery on this pretty day, she thought. Before leaving she had asked another cat to watch her kits while she stepped out of the camp for a bit. She usually didn't stray outside the camp's borders but this day was just too nice to pass up coming to the river. "Hello," she meowed to her denmate. "I see we must have had the same idea today."
