This was the first time Nightkit looked out the nursery at the large camp of cats. "It's so big out there," he mewed in awe. "Hey! Come look at this!" he called to his littermates. He was anxious to explore this new world. "Come on! Hurry!"
Lilyfrost stretched in her nest. "Go on and take a look," she urged the others. "You can go out of the nursery but be sure you don't get in any cat's way while you're out."
Berryfrost giggles at their enthusiasm, she’d come by to visit her grandkits when she’d been nearly trampled over by over-eager little ones. “Oh my, aren’t you excited!”

"Yes!" Nightkit squealed as he jumped around impatiently. "It's so big out here!" He lost his balance and tumbled over bumping into Berryfrost's leg. "Oh sorry," he mewed, remembering that his mother had said not to get into the way of others.
