Desertkit popped her head out of the nursery and looked around, she was feeling rather mischievous and wanted to explore. Taking a step and then another until her small body was fully visible she mad a mad dash for the medicine cats den, only a few steps away from it now she launched herself into the air toward the entrance but her short legs did not carry her far enough leaving her to tumble onto the ground withing paws reach of the den. A laugh escaped her as she stood and shook herself off before barging into the herb scented enclosure.
Ivorycrown was visiting the den in need of herbs for Cougarkit, her poor little one had fallen sickly again. Spotting Desertkit come stalking into the den, she wisely acted as though she didn’t see her.
Following closely behind Ivorycrown, Cougarkit had been feeling relatively worse today in terms of his health. “I don’t need herbs!” He complained, flicking his thin little tail. “I’m perfectly fine.” Turning his attention to Desertkit, Cougarkit bounced up to her. Though, he was a bit more lethargic than usual today. “Hi Desertkit! Watcha doing?” He purred, eyeing her curiously.

Desertkit had failed to notice Ivorycrown enter the den as she began to sniff at the herbs, she knew not to eat them but was curious none the less. "How do the medicine cats sleep in here, the smells are so strong." She mumbled as she poked at the leaves laying out. The sound of Cougarkit made her jump and she whirled around causing the plants to scatter across the ground. "Cougarkit, I um, I was just..." She broke off as her eyes caught sight of the queen with her kit. "I just wanted to know what it was like in here is all." She looked at the ground, her eyes unable to reach Ivorycrown.
“Oh! Ivorycrown says I need herbs right now.” He stuck his tongue out in disgust. “I don’t know, it seems pretty boring in here.” He coughed aggressively, the force of which shook his thin frame. “I don’t like it in here. It smells.” He wiggled his nose. “Hey, do you wanna play later?”

Desertkit forced herself not to flinch as the other kit began to cough aggressively, he sure sounded sick. "If it's okay with Ivorycrown I'd love to play!" She smiled looking at the she-cat, she hoped she wouldnt be in trouble for coming into the medicine cats den alone.
