Egretfeather sighed as the sun began to rise. That meant she actually had to go out and do something with herself. The white she-cat was an early riser, but she preferred to spend her mornings lounging about. However, that all changed when Riverstar took over. Now he was constantly working the warriors and they never got a moment to relax. Peering around the camp, she searched for Puddleleap. They had been instructed to go hunting that morning.
"Egretfeather." The pale white tom meowed coming up behind her. "I hear you and I have a day ahead of us." he purred, midnight blues glittering with amusement.

She nearly jumped out of her fur at the sound of Puddleleap's voice. "Oh, you scared me!" She meowed in surprised then laughed. "Yeah, it seems like it. I swear Riverstar is going to work us until our paws fall off." The warrior complained with a roll of her eyes. Egretfeather wasn't quite aware not to say those kinds of things out loud. If the grey leader heard then she would be in prison for sure.
