Tatri's multi-shaded brown eyes flickered around the camp before she snuck out of the camp. It was late and the moon was high in the sky. Nearby an owl cooed in the trees, it's eyes searching for it's next victim. She shuddered at the thought of it's talons in her back. She had left camp this late before, but she had never wandered over the border. Tonight would be a night for adventure...
The crisp evening air set fire to her veins. She had an itch she couldn't quite scratch, one that had become quite bothersome. And so, she found herself moving from deep within the kadets' sleeping quarters, her paws taking her from her nest and to the world outside. The moon sat proud above the trees, it's light trickling down and causing the camp to look as if it were glowing. Medusalith sighed. Tonight would be a night for adventure, she was sure of it.
Her movements were graceful as she gently moved across the clearing, coming to the entrance of the camp where she descended. Pushing past the thick undergrowth of the forest, the pale ginger she-cat came to stand on the other side, baby blue eyes looking out and scanning the area before her. Someone had just come this way not too long ago, their scent fresh.
Medusalith had joined BrookClan not too long ago, not even a moon ago; she was still the fresh meat that everyone saw her as. A new plaything, some would say. Someone from the outside was rarely let into BrookClan due to their ways of life, but Medusalith had managed to sweet-talk her way inside. She always had a way with words, despite her haughty persona.
Walking out and away from BrookClan's camp, she gazed up at the stars and let another sight drift from her maw. She had decided to go in pursuit of whoever had just left camp, knowing it was best to make connections sooner rather than later.
"Yo." A deep voice called to the brown-eyed she-cat that padded through the territory, his own amber and green ones narrowed as he leapt from the tree. He stretched his back, standing straight on legs that seemed to go on for ages. He tilted a furry head. "What are you doing?" He muttered, the tone of his voice speaking that despite his words, he wasn't that interested in what she had to say. He was a rebel without a cause; picking fights where he could, seemingly without much aim than to wreak havoc. He made more enemies than he did friends, but in his twisted world, that was better.

A smile rose to her lips as she turned to face the tom. "Ah, just going out on an adventure." She responded casually, sweeping her tail across the ground as she spoke. Tatri wasn't one to lie about her intentions, although she would rather some not ask. Her ears flicked at the sound of another cat in the undergrowth. "It sounds like we are not alone." She commented with a purr. Her eyes flicked to the form of Medusalith. "Good evening."
He harrumphed, turning and looking at the small she-cat as she approached. “Figures. I deign to make my presence known and they flock like swans in need of a bath.” he chuckled. “Then again, perhaps that makes me a tall glass of water.” He glanced at Tatri and lifted his chin. “What do you think?”

"It must certainly mean that." Tatri teased with a sideways smile before flicking her ears. "So what are you two doing out here? I mean, you must have had some driving force to come and talk to me. Maybe I am the cool drink of water, hm?"
Medusalith watched as a tom appeared, and she flexed her claws and dug them into the soil below. Her blue gaze found that of Tatri, and with a smile, she replied, "It's becoming increasingly harder to sleep. My body is as restless as the night sky."
He scoffed in amusement at Medusalith's answer, glancing at Tatri. "It appears you aren't as tempting as you think you are." He tilted his head, focusing on the kadet. "And why is it so much harder to sleep? Boy troubles?" He grinned.
