Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Sealkit was tired of being in the nursery all day. He wanted to explore, and what better way to explore than to swim around camp! WaterClan was filled with pools and streams all around their camp, most shallow enough for even the smallest kit to begin learning how to swim and fish. Sealkit pranced his way out of the nursey and didn't think twice before slipping his small brown body into a pool next to the den. It was deeper than he originally thought, however, and soon found himself struggling to get back to 'shore'.
Teeth gripped his scruff as a silver tabby she-cat pulled the tiny, wet bundle of fur out of the puddle. "Silly kit. That pool is a little too deep for you" she mewed sweetly as she set the kit down on dry land. Silvermist was quite a ditsy feline and didn't have very many friends. The only cat who really spoke to her was Violetstar and occasionally some kits. However, she was teased a lot for her lack of normality.
Almost as soon as Sealkit shook his pelt he was already dry. "Gah! Thanks for saving me Silvermist~" He purred lightly. "Can we swim together! I wanna look for a pool I can swim in~" His voice was melodic in tone as he spoke, almost dancing around the warrior that saved him from not-so-certain doom.
She perked her ears in surprise that the young kit wanted to go swimming. She smiled and nodded, "okay! I think I know the perfect little pool!" She bounced away, almost like a deer frolicking through a field of flowers. She halted beside a decent sized pool. It had a shallow side and a deeper side. "How about this?" She asked the kit once he caught up to her.
Sealkit nodded with great vigor. "Yes! This looks perfect!" His smile grew as he jumped into the shallow side of the pool. It was perfect! Deep enough for him to just tread the water, yet not too deep that he couldn't make his way back to where his feet hit the sunken ground below him.
Silvermist stepped into the puddle, the deep end not even going half way up her legs. She laid down, the cool water soaking her belly. She lightly splashed Sealkit playfully.
