Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. i didn't know how else to explain this as a title, oops.
so i have a message in my inbox because of course it's always my inbox from a guest, and its conversation is blank, and where the received data would normally be (like date and time), it says received not available. when i click the message title to go to the link, i end up with the error message: Oops, there was an error! The conversation you are trying to access could not be found.
also, despite clicking on the link, my inbox still shows it as an unread message.
i'm not sure if someone tried to message me as a guest and the system just punked out on me, or if it's a glitch entirely, or if someone was trying to mess with the system. but the fact it's showing that i have an unread message that i can't read is upsetting me xD

Everyone has this, all staff, all users, we don't know why it happened or how to get rid of it yet. Since it's thanksgiving we'll probably have to wait till tomorrow or over the weekend to look into it. Sorry it's an annoying issue, I'm super bugged seeing that little (1) at the top of my screen even though I know I can't open the message xD

Fyi, I think this might have been my fault. I tried to send out a mass SC message, and this appeared when I hit send, even though I was logged in on my screen, and previously replying to threads/messages. I don't know why it did it, but it showed up when I tried to send a mass message, so I figure I'm probably the one who caused it.... somehow.
It's an interesting theory and it's true we didn't get a SunClan message. But at the same time it's so odd because when you send a mass message it doesn't send back to yourself. If Honeystorm was logged in, sent a SunClan mass message, then she was still logged in when she got this weird guest message it would seem that it wasn't her. But then it's also weird that the mass message wasn't sent. But if that's how the glitch happened then the circumstance is incredibly weird.

The message showed up in my inbox, but I have no (1) for messages, mine's still (0) and my outbox, looking at it, has a ton of the blank messages in it. So, it sent it seems, as if I was logged in, but glitched to this weird ghost message.

o-o that's pretty bizarre. i'm glad to know i'm not alone with it though. this is sort of the second time something weird has happened in my inbox so i'm glad to know it's not just because i have the worst luck ever when it comes to messaging bugs cx

Don't worry, messages apparently hate me too now. I sent Cleave a message right after, since I noticed the blank conco thing, and that gave me an error message, and on my end shows that sapph and pao were also sent the message for some inexplicable reason. So, apparently I shouldn't message people.

Wait, yes it does xD Or at least, I always get my mass messages in my inbox.
Is anyone else having the issue that when you try to send a message to anyone that it say you have to enter a message/text into the message space? I do and it still won't let me send anything to anyone. Cleaver had said that I sent a message to the whole site when it was between me and blue regarding the lunar giards in MC. I can reply to things in forums but not to most of my messages or start new messages. I thought at first it was just a one time thing cus it happened not to long after the guest message showed up and wouldn't go away even when I clicked on it, but now I don't know.

pao can you screenshot what happens when you try and send messages / reply to them? we can post on the proboards support forum & try get this & the blank message bug fixed ^^
It's kind of random when it does it becuase I was able to send and reply to a message I sent to myself today as I was gonna screenshot that but it actually sent this time. BUt I tried to sned a message the other day and it wouldn't let me. The next time it does that I'll be sure to screenshot it and put here.
If you still have the mysterious (1) next to your inbox when you have no unread threads, you need to delete all of the threads in your inbox. A few minutes later, this should clear it up. Let us know if it doesn't!
