Ivy eyes peered angrily into the lake, the pretty patched tabby's angular features shattered a moment later as the pebble collided with the water, sending ripples out to disturb the perfectly still surface and distorting the young warrior's features beyond all recognition. Inferiorchoice would never adjust to SunClan. That much was only too blatant, even for the youngest kits. Raised in MoonClan, she was everything but what the clan of her 'birth' wanted her to be. She was humble and orderly, unlikely to pick fights or obsess about herself, let alone show the same fervor or loyalty to the Sun. Even Foxstar treated her like an outcast. She may have been a Priestess daughter, but she was no SunClan cat, not truly.
And she was perfectly okay with that. If she had her way, she wouldn't be here at all, but everywhere she went, there was always someone to trail behind, someone to ensure she wasn't able to return to where she desired.
Most days she slept, rising only after the sun set and sleeping again before it rose over the horizon, avoiding the prayers at all costs except when she was, at times, dragged to the join the rest of the clan rather than being allowed to reside in her nest.
"You look like you have something on your mind." Twilightbell had come to sit down beside the she cat. She had heard a bit about her and recognized her as the kit that had been stolen from Foxstar shortly after her birth. The young blind soothsayer promised had focused her orange eyes on Inferiorchoice. They were holding a friendly tone as she offered her a mischevious smile. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, but maybe you could use some company?
(She really needs SunClan friends and I need to be active again cx)
The she-cat almost immediately froze at the she-cat, eyeing her with skepticism at best, outright hostility at worst. Inferiorchoice didn't trust anyone under Foxstar's thumb, and whatever Twilightbell thought, she was in a position that put her in close proximity to the Priestess, despite the fact the two high ranking cats didn't even live in the same camp. "I'm not sure it's any of your business." The leader's daughter snapped defensively, her tail curling tighter around herself protectively, body tensing on instinct at the presence of this cat. SunClan didn't trust her, and she didn't trust them. She was a MoonClan, blood be damned, though, ironically, her aggressive, stubborn attitude, hinted at her roots, no matter what other traits spoke to MoonClan's influence.
"Well I said you didn't have to tell me." Twilightbell had tilted her head to the side. She didn't quite understand her hostility, but it would look bad on her if she played into it so instead she just sat down, curled her tail around her paws, and fixed her sightless orange eyes on Inferiorchoice. "You don't have to be so nervous you know. I'm not going to hurt you. At the moment I can't even see you because you're not close enough. "If the camp makes you tense, we can go for a walk. It might be nice to get a bit of fresh air."
"Even then, I'm not alone." Her gaze drifted to the corner of camp, where Lastaffair was watching the conversation with a rather bored expression. Ever since joining SunClan, one of Foxstar's kits had always been watching her, making sure she didn't run away. Really, this place, which they claimed was supposed to be her new home, was more like a prison than anything, given that she couldn't even have a moment to herself. Not really.
"Does it really matter? Even if you aren't alone, no one here will hurt you, or at least I won't." She gave a rueful grin. "I'm probably not liked very much at the moment anyway. Most of my family could probably say that after what happened..." Wormwood had saw to that. Some cats still looked to her with suspicion. She tried her best to ignore it, but it was difficult at best. "Honestly I was just hoping for a good conversation. It's been sort of boring here lately."

"Even you aren't followed everywhere you go, though." She pointed out bitterly, but rose to her paws all the same. "I guess a walk and a conversation couldn't hurt, however. It's not like I've anything better to do." And if she hung around, her brother was certain to show up. And she really, really, didn't want to see Noblechampion any time soon. The two were opposites, and Foxstar made it no secret Inferiorchoice was the black sheep of the family due to her past growing up in MoonClan. She was simply happy to be in possession of her own once more, the High Priestess didn't truly care for the kit she'd lost.
"Great! Come on I'll show you a great spot where we can sun ourselves. It's one of my favorite spots in the territory." Of course she couldn't see it, but she had memorized the different paths that she took to get to different places on SunClan land. This was actually an area she had found when she was waiting for Heartpaw one night, but Inferiorchoice didn't have to know that.

Resigning herself to spending a few hours at least with the she-cat, Inferiorchoice followed Twilightbell, though she was still keenly aware of Lastaffair's presence hanging behind her. Apparently, the warrior didn't trust her to not bolt around the Promised. She half wanted to laugh. It seemed she didn't trust Twilightbell either then, though given the she-cat's comment about her uncle, the previous Soothsayer, it made some sense. At least she wasn't alone in the distrust then.
"It seems we are being followed still. I suppose it's to be expected really, but I'm afraid they will be sorely disappointed since they will just be sitting there watching us sitting in the sun." She offered Inferiorchoice a mischievous smile. "Unless we decide to ditch her. You wouldn't be alone you know. You have me with you and we're just having a good time within SunClan territory so there's really no harm in it." Ok so perhaps she might get into a little trouble, but she could at least cover for Inferiorchoice if it came down to it. She needed a change of pace anyway and a bit of fun never hurt anyone.
