Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Raiser Symmetry rolled to his feet, feeling the damp dirt below his paws. It had been moons since this action had been as natural as it had been to him when he was young. You see, after being away from the group for a while, a feline kidnapped into a life not his own, he had grown accostumed to the way the grass felt underneath paw pads, the way asphalt would burn these same paw pads if he had been too careless in nature. He had grown accustomed to the city air, not the musky air of the tunnels. Of course, this had been where the tom had been born and raised. He had been just promoted to raiser when he disappeared. It shouldn't be so foreign to him, should it?
Perhaps it was because these tunnels felt strange without the presence of a black and white she-cat who's side he hadn't often been too far from. Superior and then Commander Brighton was now just a ghost in the tunnels, a ghost that had given a direction to most of his life. She had been the one to take him away from this dark place to the ruins of Avalon Everlasting. She had asked him to follow her, and he had, right into the palms of a city, the one that he stayed until the Commander lost her seventh life. It had been a full moon since that happened, since she uttered her last words. She had told him that after she was gone, he needed to go back to where his heart was, wherever that was.
And so he did. It took him time to find the Regime; it had changed locations since he last roamed this fragile earth. Everything felt so different for the raiser now....
He was lost in thought as he padded through the tunnels, so much so he didn't hear a feline pad up behind him.
Raiser Jasmine had only ever known these tunnels. Her father had brought her here at a very young age and had quickly risen to become the Regime's commander. He had told her that the Regime was his home growing up and that their family had been here for many generations which was something to be proud of. She'd grown up safe and sound within the tunnels of the Regime alongside her two brothers. She'd also seen several cats come and go during her short life. At the moment she was padding along behind Symmetry. She hadn't gotten much time to get to know the Raiser and she had decided that it was time for that to change. "Hello Symmetry! How are you today?" Finally she decided it would be best to say something. Otherwise it might look strange if he were to turn around and realize that she had been following him for a little bit.
