Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. It was her third patrol of the day. Not because Chiharu thought there was really much of a reason to monitor the border so closely, but more our of hope that if she did long enough a reason would arise.
Boredom had slowly become the combatant's worst enemy, and everything in her burned for a challenge, fight, or anything new. She didn't want to wander, though the longing grew stronger and stronger. Instead she looked to be useful, despite the fact that it seemed nothing would ever fill her days but the mundane grind. It frustrated her to no end, and a small hope in her continued to fester that someone or something would come looking to cause trouble or start a fight. Loyalty and her eagerness to prove her it would never allow her to admit it, yet it still burned in her like a small flame she herself couldn't even truly recognize or put words to.
