Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Stealthclaw decides to spend some time with her adopted kits. Reminding them that even though they're all promoted to apprentice, and warriors in Echomelody's case. She still loves them dearly. Thus she invites Celestialpaw (Jetclaw), Divinepaw (racer), Echomelody (Spot), Goldenpaw (simplylight), and Ornatepaw (@blankslate) to come spend some time with her in the clearing on NightClan's territory.)
Stealthclaw had invited her kits to join her in the clearing for some fun, now that after raising kits for moons upon moons, Stealthclaw was eager to see her kits skills now and thus had invited them to the clearing. She knew she was probably rusty, and thought it'd be a great opportunity for her kits to feel good about their progress if they thought they could show her something.
She circled the clearing once checking just in case to make sure nothing particularly nasty might lie in wait, before sitting down in the middle to wait for her children to join her. StarClan had truly blessed her. When her own kits had come into the world lifeless, Coyoteway had arrived with a litter for her to care for, and then fates brought Echomelody to her as well. Though she grieved the two kits who had been born lifeless, she was thankful for the children she had now.

"Come on!" Celestialpaw urged her siblings taking the lead as she ran through the territory heading for the clearing Stealthclaw had asked her and her siblings to meet her at. "Mother is waiting for us in the clearing." She wondered if her mother was going to give them a test like their father would do on occasion. Stealthclaw had been very motherly for most of the time they'd been in her care, so seeing her actually put the kits to the test wouldn't be too odd for Coyoteway's children. They were used to their father placing high expectations on them. They were to be the future of the Black Hand after all.
Echomelody was still grieving for Smallspiral but a smile spread across her black and white face. "I dont think mother is going anywhere if we are a little late" she told her adopted sister in a rumbling purr as she followed her adopted littermates to the clearing.
Echomelody padded happily over to Stealthclaw, nuzzling her affectionately. "Hello, mama" She greeted with a purr. Even if Stealthclaw really wasn't her mother, she was the only mother figure she had. She raised her after all.

"Mom!" Goldenpaw let out a purr as he tackled their adopted mother. His bright eyes switched over to his siblings and he let out a laugh. "Why are you all so late?" He teased. Everyone knew that he couldn't harm a fly. Out of all of them, he probably had the kindest heart. That is what earned him his name, after all. Well, that and the golden patch of fur on his back leg.
"Mother.'" Ornatepaw spoke as she pushed into the little get together space as well, tone perhaps a little more reserved than the others. Recently with her promotion to apprentice she had been trying to prove herself more and more mature. Restricting herself more and mimicking a stone in her attempts to seem older and wiser than she truly was. At times she wondered why she bothered as whenever she glanced towards her father he seemed to have no inclination to giving her the time of day. Other than occasionally giving her an inane task to complete they rarely spoke. It made her even more grateful for Stealthclaw in her life.
Stealthclaw managed to nuzzled Echomelody before letting out a quiet off as Goldenpaw tackled her and she flopped onto her side, laughing as Ornatepaw joined the pile. "Aww I'm glad to see you all too!" She purred. "And now that I'm not confined to the nursery anymore, we can do some fun and training out in the territory! Just like I promised you all when you were all demanding to go outside back in the nursery." She said with a mrrow of amusement whiskers twitching.

Divinepaw appeared later than the others, but that wasn't all the unusual. What was unusual was the mud the covered his white fur. As he pounced on their mother's tail playfully to surprise her, flecks of it went flying through the air to hit all of his siblings that were in close proximity "Mom!!! You will never believe what I got to do today!"
"What happened to you?" Echomelody asked, shocked, as she shook the mud from her fur that Devinepaw had gotten on her. "Did you have a fight with the ground?" She teased, her whiskers twitching in amusement as she took a good look at her muddy sibling.

"If I had, I would have won" he boasted, puffing out his chest "But no, not quiet that exciting. I got to go swimming in the river and catch my first fish" he purred. The young tom was the most boisterous of his siblings, and by far the most adventurous. He was always getting into something, much to their father's disapproval "Bloodtusk made a bet with me. He said there was no way that I could do, but I proved him wrong. Now he has to clean out MY nest"

"You got Bloodtusk to clean out your nest?!" Goldenpaw's attention swung over to Divinepaw in surprised. He couldn't imagine taking on one of the big, beastly siblings like that. He tried to imagine Ironjaw cleaning out his nest and he giggled. "That is amazing!"
Ornatepaw simply watched then, insides twisting as she wished it could always be like this. As she wondered towards if they would keep this bond even as they aged, as her and her siblings gianed their warrior names. Shaking herself and trying to push the sudden melancholy away she beamed towards her brother. "Does that mean you're not best friends with him then huh? Gonna leave us behind." She joked.
Echomelody laughed when Devinepaw told her the story. "How did you manage to get him to agree to that?" She asked, her eyes sparkling with amusement. Her brother always seemed to know his way around other cats.
Stealthclaw let out a mrrow of amusement, flicking her tail to free it from Divinepaw's grasp. "I must agree with Echomelody, how did you pull off such a feat." She meowed, as she nudged Ornatepaw, giving her a gentle lick on the head. She could tell her daughter was fretting over something, and she wanted to soothe her. After all this was a time for joy! They were all together, and finally they would be training together, as mother and children.
She was thrilled to see what they would grow up into... even with Coyoteway seeming to watch over them now much more.
But she supposed with them now out of the nursery he was more interested in seeing them reach his expecations. Which made Stealthclaw roll her eyes.
She wanted her kits to reach their potential, but she wouldn't just loom and watch expectantly. Now that she was out of the nursery she intended to encourage them. They would be great warriors if she had anything to say about it! regardless of whatever Coyoteway thought.

"Well it wasn't all that hard. All you have to do is pay attention to others and what they like and what they don't. Bloodtusk is just like a big teddy bear on the inside. Appeal to his sweeter side, and it was as easy as taking honey from a kit" he purred then paused "not that i have ever taken honey from a kit... That wouldn't be really nice, but same concept" his bob tail wagged behind him as he spoke, surprised that everyone was impressed by something he had thought was really easy. He lowered his head and swiped at the thick mud that covered his paws.
Ornatepaw narrowed her eyes at Divinepaw, her cynicism making her think that perhaps her brother was mocking her. It sounded a lot like he was boasting about his own ability to read others and get things he wanted. Was it a threat? That he would be the next in their family to join the black hand because he would be able to convince Coyoteway? Biting her tongue harshly she decided she would need to watch him. "So where are we going to go then?" She spoke finally turning to their adoptive mother in question.

Divinepaw grinned, pleased with himself. In reality he had no intentions of ever becoming a member of the black hand. He was fare more interested in exploring and making friends than being stuck doing the dirty work of the clan. Besides, Coyoteway would never choose him, not in a million years. He was to free spirited, and disappointed their father at every turn. Although, he did want to make his father happy its just not who he was.
