Fernshadow waited near the edge of the pool where the waterfall dumped into. Checking her reflection in the pool every so often. Once she was satisfied she looked immaculate she straightened up and sat to wait for her apprentices. She'd told Blazepaw and Moosepaw to join her at the bank of the pool, today would be hunting practice. So they would be going around the waterways in search of prey looking for a drink.
Blazepaw nervously made his way over to where their mentor had asked to meet. They young tom seemed to keep getting moved from mentor to mentor and pair to pait. He was already insecure, and all this moving around wasn't helping. Hopefully he would be promoted after this. "Fernshadow" he greeted shyly
Fernshadow purred and nodded to Blazepaw, he was doing well, and she hoped his skill would help urge Moosepaw to reach higher heights.
"Hello Blazepaw! Since you're the first one here you'll get to pick what today's lesson will cover, so what would you like to do?" She asked him lightly.
"We should..." he paused contemplating what the other cat might enjoy. "errrmmm" he wasn't used to being asked his opinion on such matters so he wanted to do his best to pick a good subject "What about swimming? Where we live near the waterfall, we should make sure Moosepaw knows how to swim in case he ever falls in"
