Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Honestly she wasn't even sure why Mars had asked her to be a spy. He was always asking her to do things around the tunnels and so she hardly left. It was annoying but she couldn't tell her brother no. In this instance he had asked her to handle training with the scout cadets since a new scout superior had yet to be named. Honestly...Her brother needed to pick someone. She knew that Limavady's betrayal has shocked him. It had shocked all of them to an extent, but leaving his position open for too long was only going to cause problems. She would help him out this once though.
She had ordered the cadets to meet her just outside of the tunnels. She was going to test their hunting abilities and go from there. She was not a cat that many wanted to cross and she was notorious for lecturing cadets that were unlucky enough to incur her wrath. She probably wasn't going to be a popular choice among the cadets, but they didn't have to like her to learn from her.
Cadet Aries took apprehensive steps as she came out of the exit. Limavady was a mean and strict teacher, one that Aries didn't like or care for too much. With everything she's learned about Diana from Decimus- or, really, the lack of information he gave about her due to his.... rather strained relationship with Diana, Aries was shaking like a leaf. As soon as Diana's appearance came over the hills she shook even more, trying to die it down the closer she got to the spy. Her blue eyes stayed away from Diana's own green, opting to land on her left ear instead. Odd choice, but that's what made Aries comfortable. Eyesight was scary- unless it was Pisces or Decimus.
She dipped her head and flicked her feathery flame pointed tail lightly. She looked behind her and noticed she was the first and only scout cadet so far. She really wanted to shake her entire body, but instead chose to flick her tail in anxiety instead. She just hoped Diana wouldn't notice.
"You're on time. That's more than the rest of your denmates. Well done." Diana was giving her a hard look. Emerald green eyes were locked on the cadet. In her opinion most cadets were lazy and lacked a proper work ethic now days. In a way handling the training of the cadets was a blessing. She could do what she could to ensure that the next generation of cadets was better than the last. Of course she had also made it known that she would not be handling this duty permanently. She was a spy. While she used to be a scout, her brother had given her this role himself and he had yet to let her leave the tunnels to actually do her duty.
"Do you have any idea where your denmates may be at this point in time?" If she had to go and get them, it was not going to be pleasant for them.
"I.... I'm not..... I'm not too sure." She peeped out, though rather slowly. She looked back behind her again, trying to spot a glimpse of someone, anyone, coming up behind her. Where was Aquarius? Or Primus? Surely at least he would have to come soon; he was the new Head Cadet and the one to fully lead their small hunting patrol. "Would you.... Do you.... should I go back and see where everyone else is?" If Diana wasn't annoyed with her before, now she definitely would be. She stammered her sentences and flailed her tail in all which ways. By the Blind Protector, she couldn't tell which one was worse already: Limavady's training or Diana's?

Cadet Tundra jabbed Aries in the side with a paw. "Hey! Calm down, would you? I can feel your heebie jeebies from all the way down the hall. Your fear-scent wreaks, too." Her nose scrunched.
Cadet Aquarius loved Cadet Tundra, for she was her friend, but not as much as she loved her sister. The cream, brown and white colored she-cat came out from the shadows, fury burning deep within her blue eyes. "Cadet Tundra!" She snapped, her teeth bared, "How dare you talk to my sister in such a way. Apologize. Now." It was obvious that Cadet Aquarius wasn't playing any games, today; when it came to family, nothing else mattered.
Aries stumbled a bit as Tundra pushed her, bumping into her sister in the process. She brushed a feathered tail against her sisters back and pressed her flank against Aquarius. Her ears flattened as aquamarine eyes sat went between Diana and Tundra.
"Cadet Tundra!" Diana's sharp green eyes fixated on the cadet. "At least Cadet Aries had the sense to be on time. Can you say the same?" Her gaze then swung over to Cadet Aquarius. "As you you...You had better have a good explanation for being late as well. When you are told to gather at a certain time, you are expected to be there. Proper soldiers are not tardy." Diana was strict. She had always been strict. She had high standards for herself and therefore for those around her as well. Perhaps that was why her brother had asked her to look after Cadet Tundra in the first place. The young she cat needed proper guidance to channel all of her excess energy.
Cadet Bumble quietly slipped in from a shadow, the young yellow and black tabby cat sitting down beside a few of the other cadets, hoping to enter mostly unnoticed.
As soon as the newly appointed Head Cadet stepped into the clearing where they were supposed to meet, he had half a mind to just stop and head back the way he came.
It was bad enough that Cadet Primus had slept in and was now running late to his own patrol, but having only paid half-attention the day before when the orders were being given, the appearance of his mother Diana there was news to him. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Well, at least the slender black tom could watch the love and pride of his mother when he was given head position fly off into the sun again. Oh, how he loved watching those moments as they ever frequently passed by. After a split second of hesitation, he finally decided that turning tail right then and there would only make his situation worse, and so with his fluffy head held high Primus marched in and took a seat right at the front beside his good friend Tundra.
"For the record," he meowed confidently before Diana or anyone else could get a word in, "I may be late, but that is only because I stayed behind in Post Echo, making sure that all the rest of my peers that I could find were up and would make it to training on time, as a good Head Cadet should." Was it a bald-faced lie? Yes, and he was well-aware the rest of the Cadets knew it. But it was worth a shot anyway, and knowing how many of the other Scout Cadets admired him, there was a good chance they might back him up.
