Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Thrushstar was deep in his thoughts when he saw the pale light of sunrise drift through his den. I should go on a patrol, or organize them.. he thought to himself. With a heave he pushed his body up into a standing position. He gave himself a quick wash before exiting the safety of his sandy hollow. The thought of greencough still spreading it's icy tendrils through the camp made him want to return to it. He knew though, that his clan needed their guidance. Every time he had hope that it was releasing it's grip, another cat came to Softpelt with a retched cough. Even he had started to feel a tickle in his chest. He hoped it was nothing. Another cat's voice pulled him from his deep, deep thoughts.

"Thrushstar." The tuxedo she-cat repeated once more, her wiry frame outlined against the sunlight that filtered in the den. Bonemaiden had spent the morning out on a hunting patrol and it was clear from the scent of leaves and mouse on her coat that they were successful. After the murder of her half-brother, Velvetdusk, she had become even more cold than before. Her gun-metal eyes were distant and unreadable as she waited for Thrushstar's response, but the tip of her tail twitched in irritation.

She sighed in relief as the leader finally heard her. "Whitewood and I were out on a hunting patrol today, but on the way back we scented a fox and wanted to report it to you. It was a bit stale, but it could still be around." She reported quickly before letting her head tilt a bit. "Are you alright?"
With an edge to his tone, Thrushstar turned towards her. "Yes, I am fine. There is a lot going on." he murmured, not wanting to give too much away. StarClan had kept him busy. "Would you be willing to come with me to check it out?" he asked.

Bonemaiden relaxed her stance a bit, but still seemed a bit rigid. Something more was bothering him, but she understood why he wouldn't want to tell. The clan leader's secrets and affairs weren't any of her business. She remembered when her father had scolded her and Copperstain for eavesdropping on one of Ghoststar's conversations once. She fought a little snort at the memory before nodding to Thrushstar. "Of course."
Thrushstar gave her a curt nod and started to pad forward. He looked behind him to make sure the warrior was still following. As she began to follow, he murmured to her. "I apologize for not fully being here. There is a lot going on. Greencough has finally released its grip on our clan, but tensions between everyone is seemingly getting worse." he said, confiding in her.
"Thrushstar," Softpelt meowed as she entered the den, "I have some extra water you can have." She set down some water soaked moss by him. She'd noticed him not sounding great. "I grabbed too much for Breakingkit." A lie, she'd given Breakingkit her water much earlier that day, and had gone out to fetch this for Thrushstar when she'd noted him not sounding good. "And I figured you could use it."

Bonemaiden fought a twitch of her whiskers in surprise. She wasn't used to many cats confiding in her. On the outside, the tuxedo she-cat had an abrasive personality and seemed cold. She wasn't that way on the inside, but that didn't show through often. "Of course, I understand. I can feel the tensions rising also." She responded with a nod. The feeling was almost like the clan was mourning separately instead of together. Everyone had their own struggles and problems.
