Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The sky was like a swirling caldron. The morning light casting hues across the visibly moving clouds. The lower ones touching the islands tall tree tops and seeping down between the foliage. Aconite slipped from camp before a cat could stop her. Her black and white pelt slipping in and out of the waning shadows. She loved it when the moon was still visible between the swirling clouds playing tag with its rival in the cosmos. She slipped down a side path towards the small stream that trickled through the Island. She loved to listen to it. To get away. She hadn't asked for the attention of Solaris or the power of Warden he had gifted her. She just wanted to break the Indy curse and die content. She bent down to lap the cool clean water.
Kotori's smallish black body lied in the shade, his half white face a piercing bright deviation in the otherwise darkened area. Crawling across his paw was a centipede, he seemed to have a knack for finding bugs and not being utterly horrified, but that was the kind of tamed behavior one was equipped to deal with when having lived in the Regime. Before being small was the advantage, no cat wanted to be tall in a underground palace of low baring and narrow tunnels. Now it was the opposite, he was well recognized as a runt of his litter and truly only his kill count, infamy, and his other side of the family that did live in the league were his only saving graces.
But really what was he doing here? He had stolen lives to give to Cyra for when she became Nemesis. Now she was gone, he hadn't killed for nothing, but the reward of staying in the league felt hollow now. He couldn't go home, they'd kill him, but here it just felt rotten. In the league you were either a insane or a mastermind and for Cyra he was both. Now without her he was neither. He looked up suddenly and immediately turned his face away as he watched the she-cat from a distance. She was the new warden. He slowly shifted his head to be exposed again deciding it was fine if he was caught hanging out. Higher ups typically didn't bother talking to him, of course Solaris E'tan was his only friend in the entire league so he kind of hoped he wouldn't ignore him now that he was nemesis.
He hesitantly watched her, league cats didn't like to be approached, but maybe he should? Would it be creepy if she looked back at him staring? Maybe too much time had passed and it was beyond that point of saying hello and would only make him look weird for waiting so long.
"Congratulations on being Warden," Kotori said, deciding that was the most non offensive and least likely thing for her to reasonably yell at him about.

Her ear twitched in the direction of his voice before she turned her head and blinked ice blues. "Oh um thank you. Though I am not sure it is something to be congratulated for." She turned her gaze away again to focus it on a frog that leapt across the small stream. "Perhaps a better thing to say would be, my condolences for the chains of responsibility and power placed on your shoulders." she allowed the side of her mouth to turn up slightly in self amusement.
Kotori let out a cold icy bark, "Well aren't you a dark ray of sunshine. Yeah I guess I get that, I thought I wanted power until I got it. Turns out I just wanted bloodshed, but ick, problem with bloodshed is it's so messy. Never worth the trouble honestly, but hey look on the bright side. Once you get to be nemesis you'll be practically immortal, Goddess Aconite, how's that for more power on your shoulders," He jested.
