Open thread for anyone to join in on! Plot Idea: Frevidsummer has recently announced that she’s pregnant with her first litter of kits. Technically, she raised one litter previously but they are her two adopted daughters. Brindlemist, now deceased, and Roseshade, the witch, are known as her daughters to all and they even call her mom. But her mate, he’s never been a parent. Sure he’s an uncle, but that’s completely different than having your own kits. Does anyone have any advice for Frevidsummer to ease her mate’s fears?
Frevidsummer was swelling and fast. It wouldn’t be too much longer and she would have her own litter of little ones to care for all over again. While she had taken in Roseshade and Brindlemist as kits they weren’t exactly newborns. Her daughters had been a bit older and had remained in her care a few moon sagte they were truly old enough to be promoted to regain their strength after being abandoned. So while Frevidsummer has some experience raising kit, her dear mate has none. Talonstrike had practically fainted when she’d spilled the news of the pregnancy and even now he still seemed nervous.
Lounging at the edge of the hot spring pool found in the center of camp, she swished her tail through it’s surface, mind lost in ideas on how to make Talonstrike more comfortable with this idea of raising kits.
