Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Wispyfeather's chin was shoved deep into her nest. It wasn't even hers, this camp, this clan. She was supposed to have a big litter with her first litter next to her to chat about how they'd play with them when their eyes open. Her mate was supposed to be at her side thinking of names for them. No one was at her side because everyone was looking for her kits. But she couldn't be certain. Did SunClan just take her kits? She promised she would be their initiate, they she would join them to spare her family. Maybe they never had that intention to give her mercy. They were always going to take her kits like the other mothers.
Her eyes landed on Mottledfrost, "How are you holding up?" Her voice came out weak, she hadn't used it in a while, had all but lost her voice after the initial day of the kits missing. Now they had been missing for five sunrises.
Mottledfrost's voice had gone without use for several days now. She hadn't spoken to anyone, done anything particularly useful. She had simply been there, watching the snow fall, her gaze glazed over. Everyone had mostly ignored her, because she had gotten ignored a lot even before her heart had been broken in a million places. When she spoke, she sounded just as weak as the other devistated feline.
"As well as you, I assume," she meowed after a long moment's hesitation. Her body shifted to face her. She was thin and uncomfortable. "And, you?"
Wispyfeather let out a shuttered sigh, "My mate Snowprince lost his first litter, now he's losing another, whatever I'm feeling he'll know what it's like... Only he'll feel it for the second time. I just can't believe this is happening. I can't believe no one is doing anything. We're all just helpless and my kits need someone who's in control and there's no one. They needed me and I failed them. But I'm not going to fail the two daughters I have left, they'll pass SunClan's initiation and be safe even if it is with the enemy."
