Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Only moments after Silverfury (Jadie) and Enchantedwinter (Phantom) were announced as a couple they were forcibly herded into a small cozy den before being sealed inside with some large rocks. They were each told that they would be confined in the den for twenty-four hours together before their wedding would take place the following night. Within the cozy den were an assortment of flowers and herbs strung about the den. The scent was strong, thick with the aroma of lavender and vanilla. Both scents meant to be soothing agents to force a calm relaxing vibe. Off to the left side were an assortment of foliage, freshly cut flowers and other decorations meant for the couple to decorate one another with for their upcoming wedding. The more extravagant and detailed the couple would accessorize themselves with, the more it symbolized a happy marriage. They could not dress themselves up, only each other.
This is the time for the couple to exchange pleasantries, get to know one another, and plan their futures together."
(if you would like a wedding thread later on, please message me or one of the staff, thank you.)
Enchantedwinter had been visibly shaking when Wintrystar announced her upcoming marriage to none other than Silverfury, she had no connection to the tom and had never actually spoken to him but it was easy to see even from a distance what he was like. She let her clanmates herd her into the den, immediately pushing herself against the wall that was covered in fresh flowers, her glittering blue eyes watching the tom cautiously. He was a picture of perfection and any she-cat would have been lucky to have been paired with him, but why her. Enchantedwinter wasnt a Winterclan cat by blood or so that is what she had been told, and Silverfury knew it.
The second the stone rolled in front of the entrance, Silverfury's claws were up against Enchantedwinter's throat, throwing her to the ground with such force it would knock the breath out of the most seasoned of Warriors. He pinned her down but never did he remove his claws from her throat. Those intense silver eyes of his bore into hers for a few moments, searching for the answer to a question he had not yet asked, before he drew away slightly and looked her over like she was some piece of fresh-kill.
Enchantedwinter was beautiful to be sure, but she was as far from WinterClan pureblood as one could get, the kind of cat he'd have exiled or worse if he had his way. The fact that Wintrystar dubbed him, HIM, a pureblood - practically royal - WinterClan tom to this mud-blood made his heart burn with rage. He lifted his free paw and ran it down the length of her side, which of course only put more pressure on her throat, before bluntly saying, "I will never love you. I will never dirty my bloodline and have kits with you. But I will marry you, if that is what Wintrystar wishes."
She should have seen it coming, though it wouldnt have mattered even if she had, Silverfury was much larger than her and oozed confidence which was something she had always been lacking. When his claws gripped around her throat she could feel the panic building within her, her breath cuaght and then left her lungs as she slammed against the ground all while staring wide eyed up at the frightening tom, tears begining to collect in the corners of her blue eyes.
The lack of air along with being scared for her life left her unable to respond with words so she did the o ly thing she could and that was nod, her head tilted up and down and she winced as it caused his claws to push deeper into her skin. There was only one thing in her mind. I'm sorry. it wasnt whether or not he would release her before the lack of air killed her, it was I'm sorry. It was her fault he wasnt happy, she didnt meet his high standards, even though she couldn't help being born without Winterclan blood.
Seeing Enchantedwinter nod brought a smile to Silverfury's face. Despite it all, it seemed she knew her place and would likely be obedient. As angry as he was to be paired with her, he was happy for this small victory, for it meant that she would be easily controlled. He removed his paw from her throat and stepped back, seemingly in a better mood, although it would always be impossible to tell. Silverfury wore a scowl even when happy. He was well named.
"Back on your feet," He mewed evenly, pulling down one of the assorted flowers, a blue-petaled bloom with frost-burned edges. Those massive paws of his were surprisingly gentle when handling the frail thing, "A blue snowdrop. Resilient little things, but they remind me of tear drops... and your pelt. I'll use this as your main..." he groaned, clearly he thought this was kind of stupid, or maybe it was just the cat he was with, "... accessory."
Enchantedwinter took a deep raspy breath as her airway was freed, her body was shaking horribly and she remained frozen until ordered her to get up, slowly and unfurled she rolled onto her paws not knowing if they would be able to support her. listen and obey... Listen and obey she repeated it in her mind, talking back was out of the question not that she would have been able to even if she wanted, but it seemed her little nod had appeased him for now. Her eyes watched as he picked up the Snowdrop with a gentleness she didnt expect, but her body flinched without her permission when it seemed like he was going to move towards her.
Silverfury did not move toward her, though, and began to piece together some sort of flower crown. There were several bases to choose from so it was relatively easy for a cat like him - who was not very crafty by nature - to put together. Simple as it was, the flowers had an unmistakeable natural beauty, accented strongly by the milky blue chalcedony he fit into the band. He was mostly done with it by the time he glanced back at Enchantedwinter, only to frown when he realized that she had made no progress whatsoever on his accessory, "What are you waiting for?"
She didn't let her eyes move away from him, watching him weave the flowers together into a band, his gentle movements seeming for out of place compared to his harsh actions from only moment ago. So entranced in what he was doing she didn't realize he was looking at her, who had not moved an inch, her ears fell back at the sound of his voice and she blinked. "Waiting for?" She sat confused for a second before it hit her and she jumped to her paws. "I'm sorry!" She turned quickly and began sifting through the flowers on the opposite side of the cave from Silverfury frantically.
Silverfury was extremely annoyed and looked as much. Not only had he been paired up with a non-pureblood she-cat, he had also been paired with an idiot. He dropped the flower crown he had made on the ground at Enchantedwinter's feet then turned his back on her and sat down by the door, curled up in a tight ball. He knew this game. They were supposed to talk and bond, grow close to one another, be happy. But Silverfury would never be happy with her. There was no point in trying.
"I don't care what you make, just be sure that it looks at least as good as the one I made." He growled, his eyes closed, it looked like he was going to try to sleep through this.
