Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Things had been happening so quickly for Hera. Now, both of her parents were gone and she found herself spending most of her time absorbed in her work. Well, that is what she did normally, but now she hardly took time for breaks. Perhaps it was a way of coping or perhaps she just enjoyed work. It was hard telling really, but either way, if there was something to be done, she would do it. At the moment, she had been told to take some time off. This of course left her unsure of what to do with her newfound free time and so she was wandering the tunnels lost in memories of the past.

Calypso was also told to take time off but she couldn't, it was her only form of distraction. It was hard when her mother died. However when her Father died it nearly ripped her in half. She hadn't eaten in a while and her stomach ached at the thought of eating anything at all. Now as she wondered the tunnels her she was glad she couldnt see around her. Matter fact she pleased no one could see as she stuck close tot he shadows. The last thing she needed was a conversation.
Honestly, Hera hadn't expected to run into anyone else in the unused portion of the tunnels. This is why she had come here. She had wanted to be alone for a bit, but after a while, she picked up another scent. After a moment she identified it as Calypso. Well, that wasn't so bad. If it was her sister then perhaps she would understand a bit of how she felt. She turned, following the scent until she found her sister half hidden in the shadows. "I didn't take you to be a wanderer." She tilted her head to the side. "Did you come here to think as well?"

Calypso greeted her sister but with little enthusiasm. She wasn’t against spending time with her sister but it hadn’t occurred to her to seek her out. She realized Hera could easily feel the same. “I miss them” she said bluntly not even thinking to respond properly.
Hera's eyes widened for a moment before her gaze slowly fell to the ground. "I know. I miss them to...I never thought they would be gone...Just like that. I suppose it was just like mom to do something like that. She saved Spy Diana's tykes from that bat." Part of her resented them for it, but she knew they couldn't help it. They hadn't attracted the bat on purpose after all.

She nodded. She too had avoided the Tykes and Spy since the ordeal. "Does Diana even know what has been sacrificed for her and her scraps?" she asked a bit more harsh than she intended. She gave a soft whimper as she expression fell. "Red was supposed to walk with me today, we always walked the tunnels together." she felt her heart break all over again.
Hera honestly didn't know what to say. She missed her parents as well. They were supposed to be around, to watch her and her sisters grow old and maybe even start families one day. Now, they were gone. "I know mother at least would expect us to keep moving forward. She didn't show it much, but I know she loved us. She was very proud of us and so was dad." She finally looked up at her sister. "As for Diana and her tykes...we shouldn't be mad at them I know we shouldn't but..." She shook her head. It had left her and her sisters without either parent. "Hey, lets go above ground. Maybe a bit of fresh air will do us some good." It was rather cold outside, but at the same time, wandering around the tunnels stuck in a dreary and miserable mood didn't sound all that appealing either.

Calypso nodded and forced her limbs into a long stretch. She felt as though she had not requested their movement in moons. "Alright, and you are right. I know. Its just hard right now." she pressed her forehead to her sisters shoulder in an attempt at sisterly affection. Even as Tykes themselves Calypso had not been too good with affection. It just didnt come easy to her unless it somehow benefited her greatly. "Lets get out of here." she waved her tail for Hera to lead.
Hera nodded and moved forward, only pausing to let her plumy tail rest on her sister's shoulder for a moment. Somehow the two of them would get through this. If nothing else, their parents had taught them to be strong. "By the way, what is this I hear about you taking a walk with Basil the other day? how can you stand to be around him for more than a few minutes?" Basil was a troublemaker. At least that is what most cats in the Regime thought anyway. Hera knew he tended to be in and out of trouble quite often and on top of everything else, she didn't need her sister getting involved with someone like that.

Calypso followed close behind by a step two. At the mention of handsome tom her cheeks burned with heat. "I uh well..." she stammered for a moment before catching her tongue. "There was a storm and I needed to get out of these darned tunnels and he offered to accompany me and well..." she stopped. "It was just a walk." she looked away her tail tip twitching with her embarrassment.
This made Hera stop. "Calypso surely not! All he ever does is lose his temper and get into trouble! What could you possible see in him?" The only thing charming about that tom was the smile he seemed to have inherited from Commander Mars, but every time she saw him, he was arguing with someone. Their parents would never approve of someone like him.

"He has never lost his temper with me. And until he does I do not see any problems with at least befriending him." She shrugged her frown turning into a soft smile. "I guess he reminds me that im still here."
"I suppose you have a point just...Just be careful. I'd hate to see him drag you into trouble alongside him." Of course there was always a chance that Basil was simply misunderstood, but she honestly doubted that.
