Today, it seemed, had been a very good day. He had woken up early, giddy and light, managed to catch a bird, ad even took a nice walk. Yes, it was a very good day. But now, at the peak of sunhigh, he wasn’t quite sure what to do. Sitting near the prey-pile, he pondered his plans for the rest of the day. He could go on another hunt with Appleshine. But they had went on one just the other day, and he didn’t want to bother her.
“Oh!” Scrambling to his paws, the large black tom bounded towards the nursery. Poking his head inside, smiling at the queens who resided there, he called, “Foxkit? You in there buddy? Common, I wanna show you something.” A loud purr rumbled in his throat, such a joyful sound. He remembered when he had found Foxkit and his siblings not long ago with the other Leaders, so small and helpless. Oh how he’s grown. Shadedstar wondered how the others were doing and which one would be coming to SpringClan next.
