EVEN IN WINTER YOU CAN NOT ESCAPE THE SUN GODS WRATH
WinterClan has experienced the mysterious disappearance of several leaders since the reign of the Ancients began. WinterClan cats sway in their
many beliefs and wonder what is right in this confusing time? But StarClan has a plan. Pulling at the heart strings of a leader who lead WinterClan
four leaders back, they urge Leatherfern to return to WinterClan from his wondering travels, to finish living his remaining seven lives in service to his
rightful clan. After a moon of ignoring the tugging at his heart and nerves, Leatherfern gives in and return to WinterClan to once again be its leader.
BUT WHEN A STAR FALLS IT BURNS
During his absence from WinterClan, Leatherfern has been traveling from territory to territory learning all he can of the clans. But one particular deity
is not pleased with Leatherferns meddling. As Leatherfern return to WinterClan and officially takes his place as their leader a phenomenon never before
seen in WinterClan begins to take hold. This phenomenon will later be known as:
WinterClan's Indian Summer.
The icy solitude of most of WinterClan's territory slowly begins to melt when instead it should be thickening with the coming leaf-fall. Panic and confusion
rippled through the members of WinterClan as snow birds and snow hares begin to disappear from the territory. The terrain int he territory begins to become
unfamiliar. Dips and cracks that were once solid snow and ice give way to dangerous falls and caverns of water thick enough to drown in with no escape.
The sun becomes hot over WinterClan's mountain. Their proximity to the sun causing cats to burn on their pads, noses, and ears. Cats begin to suffer from
Heat stroke, dehydration, delirium, and hallucinations. And with the sudden dip in prey levels, starvation sets in. The members of WinterClan settle in for the
long haul. Cats begin to drop, some just ill and easily aided by herbs and water, while others pass, their wounds, illnesses, and starvation too much to cure.
But StarClan speaks up and through Mistyveil, urges the clan to band together. Have faith.
A BLIZZARD IS COMING

This plot is a three part plot where some cats specifically can be used. However the majority of this plot can be acted out in your roleplay. (:
PART ONE
Leatherfern becomes Leatherstar and takes on leadership. Ice begins to melt.
APPRETNICE - [ is on a hunting patrol and falls into a melted craves and breaks her leg] Freckledpaw rped by Deer
LEADER OF PATROL - [ Leads the patrol where the apprentice gets injured or dies. helps bring them back to camp ] Crimsonrose rped by Jetclaw
MEMBER OF PATROL - [ Part of the patrol who helps bring the apprentice back ] Bearspirit rped by Breloom
Many witness the patrols return and panic starts to set in as they describe how the path is a common hunting path and the hidden dip was never there before. As if the snow had melted away.
PART TWO
Now that panic has set in threads can begin to take place where cats witness the melting of ice and the territory changing.
Dens in camp pelt away and the crater becomes an empty cut out of the mountain. Cats gather to help form dens from sticks and fallen logs.

At this time the clan demands Leatherstar does something to save them before more cats die. Leatherstar holds a meeting with Frozenrequiem, Mistyveil, and Cinnamonpaw to discuss their options. With no end in sight to the Indian Summer they consider leaving the mountain to save as many as they can.

PART THREE
Mistyveil receives a sign from StarClan that they will soon be saved. As Leatherstar is about to announce their move away from the Mountain Mistyveil interrupts him with her message from StarClan.
PROTESTER(S) - [ This can be one or more cats who are in favor of moving away from the clan. When Mistyveil convinces Leatherstar to remain they speak up and begin to sew seeds of animosity and distrust between the cats of WinterCalan. ]

As more cats fall ill in general roleplay. And some begin to speak in hushed tones about leaving the clan with or without the rest and a pending civil war cracks in the air. A heavy blizzard barrels in through the night like an angry wolf pack taking over the mountain. In the darkness the cats gather united by a new problem and work to keep the youngest and oldest safe and huddle against the storm in a cave nearby.

When morning comes cats are counted and the cats find relief and a bond in the end of the Indian Summer. They decide to remain in the cave as their new camp as their old one has been destroyed.
