Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It had been centuries since Meliodas had met the Sun God. Centuries since he had been cursed to resurrect over and over again. Since that time, he had met the Moon god, the Blind Protector, and almost every other deity held by the clans. How could he not have? He was a curiosity, the one who never seemed to stay gone. Even still, he wasn't like Deal, who had a ton of children. He wasn't like Kutsu, who had been leader and deputy of multiple clans. He wasn't like Glowstar, who was known throughout all the clans. Dragonswrath preferred spiritual roles, even though he was plenty strong enough to be a leader. After all, he was still mostly lion. He came from Lionclan before he pissed off the Sun God, and it was still strong in him after all this time.
The tom opened his eyes, staring at the red water of the spring where he had first been cursed. He let out a small huff of laughter at the thought.

"I don't see how this is a laughing matter." It had been long since they'd first met, and both looked vastly different than they once did. At heart, however, they were both the same, though Dragonswrath seemed to have mellowed out a touch. Well, at least enough not to piss off the Sun God a second time.
He sat behind the Soothsayer, lounging across the rock lazily as steamy air swirled up around him from the heated springs. "I'm still rather annoyed you know." Not entirely true. The Sun didn't usually hold a grudge, and though he gave out extraordinarily harsh punishments for what others might consider minor irritations, especially to a deity, he quickly forgave. Luckily, his tone had a false sense of hurt and irritation in it, one that Meliodas could hopefully detect.
The tom gave an embarrassed smile, turning to look at the Sun God. “Yea. Sorry about that.” He settled down by the water, humming thoughtfully. “So why did you make me Soothsayer? Seems like i’d Be the last one you’d want to have to deal with on a normal basis.” He didn’t mean it as disrespectful, though it could easily have come across that way. In all actuality, it had been something that had been on his mind since Wormwood’s execution. He could think of lots of cats more suited to the role than him. While Dragonswrath knew most of the gods of various clans due to his travel, he was still much more adept at fighting.

( No worries, it took me a month to reply last time. xD )
"Who better? You're a fighter and healer, and that will translate well to the Janus. You're just enough trouble to be interesting, but nowadays you're not so hardheaded as to try and push my buttons again. You're quite literally the oldest cat here to know of my existence, and as such, have a much more in depth understanding of things, as well as unique knowledge about the clan's ancestors that only other ancients have access to. As far as Soothsayers go, you're more than capable enough to be in the position. Who else would I want to instruct the Janus and receive omens?" The Sun God spoke plainly, head tilted as if his words were already rather obvious. If nothing else, Meliodas made a fantastic teacher, with more moons of experience than anyone else to draw on, and that alone was worth handing him such an important role in the clan.
The tom took it in, expression entirely blank. After a moment, he nodded. “I guess that make sense. I’ll have to step down at some point though.” He pointed out quietly. “I may be immortal, but it’d be unfair to be soothsayer forever. Cats might start to wonder, as well. “
The deity shrugged. "Perhaps, but that's up to your own discretion, I suppose. As for immortality, so what? You're not invulnerable, so I say it's entirely irrelevant, and they could ask if they're so curious about your lifespan." As far as Sun God saw it, he himself was immortal, and no one had an issue. What would it matter if Dragonswrath was as well? In a less powerful, more curse-y way, of course. If anyone was that curious, Meliodas could explain his own origins.
