Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He prayed softly to the Blind Protector, each cadet's name touching his tongue briefly. Many of them were young and eager, others shy but determined. It was a wonder to watch their personalities unfold like storm clouds on the horizon. They were destined to ease pain or to inflict it. He hoped for the former. Superior Meepo continued his prayers in hopes that the Blind Protector would grant them patience as they conquered a new path in life. The little brown tabby remembered his own training and the struggles his mentor had with keeping him on task. Truthfully, he was still praying that he would stay focused. This was bound to be an interesting training session if not...
Cadet Pisces bounced up to Superior Meepo with light steps and bright golden eyes. "Big brother Meepo~" She sang as she approached the Superior. "I'm so excited for training today~! Ellison didn't really show me all that much.... other than how and where to nap." She slightly rolled her eyes but kept her warm smile throughout her rambles. Looking around them, the other cadets hadn't seemed to show up yet. She shrugged slightly. "Wonder where everyone else is?" She thought aloud.
"Well haven't you heard the rumors about Ellison?" Cadet Cerise had come to join Pisces at this point. "He is notoriously lazy and hardly ever does any work. It's no wonder the commander decided to change how we were being trained. With mentors like Ellison, no one would ever learn anything." Cerise shared her mother's more stuck up attitude but unlike her mother she had yet to learn the art of self control and often spoke whatever came to mind. This had lead to her getting in trouble more than once already.

Meepo's ears pricked as the cadets approached. He stood, leaves and twigs falling from his coat, and turned towards the two with a cheerful gleam in his eyes. "Well, welcome, Cadet Pisces and Cadet Cerise." He greeted with a purr. Ah, Ellison. He was getting used to hearing complaints about the lazy tom and his counterpart, Anguis. They were certainly an odd friend pair, but the superior thought it was kind of nice that they had each other. "Now, now. I know Ellison is fairly lazy, but he has great skill." He laughed then flicked Cerise on the ear with his tail. He grew more excited as the two forms of Cadet Gabriel and Cadet Pike approached. "It's becoming a party now!" His meow had a hint of child-like fun to it that was Meepo's own unique trait.
Cadet Gabriel gave a respectful nod to the guider superior and then to the other two she-cats. He was much quieter and less blunt than his sister.
Cadet Pike sat down beside the others, wrapping her tail around her paws neatly. She was one of the older cadets now, but she knew there was still much to learn.
"Him?" Cerise gave Meepo a disbelieving look. All she had ever seen Elias do is take naps and complain when he was actually made to work. His bedside manner was poor at best and he was always looking for a way out of work. She had not seen an ounce of the skill Superior Meepo had just claimed that he had. She supposed they weren't here to gossip about Elias though. It would be best if she left the subject alone for now. She wanted to see what more she could learn about being a guider today.

"You shouldn't speak so poorly of Guider Ellison, if he hears you he might get back at you even if he's lazy." Head Guider Cadet Rika drifted into the tunnel, her silver blue eyes gazing over each of the cats around her. "There's plenty of herbs that won't kill you but might give you a rough day or two." She remarked and smiled at the others. While he words held a certain morbidity in them her tone was warm and friendly. Rika herself had quite the reputation for being absent minded with her head in the clouds. She never caught on to anything the scouts or mercenaries tried to teach her but seemed to have a memory like a sponge when it came to memorizing herbs and their uses so she already had quite the index of knowledge to pull from despite her young age.
"If he could even be bothered to do so." Cerise gave Rika a dubious look. Ellison didn't appear to have vengeful bone in his body so she highly doubted he would retaliate at all. She honestly didn't think he would care one way or another what was said about him. "But we really aren't here to gossip about him now are we?" She turned back to Superior Meepo. "Will we be beginning soon?"
While the rest of the Cadets were arguing about Guider Ellison, Cadet Atticus quietly slipped into the meeting, watching everyone else converse with shy amusement. The grey-patched white tom was one of the newest promotions of the whole group, and while slightly nervous, was secretly very excited to have his first full crash-course on herbs and healing. He just hoped that he'd be able to keep up with everyone else.
