Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Pisces and Aries never really had many friends. They always chose to stick with each other, ever only knowing the comfort of family. When they were split up, usually, they were kinda lost. So, here was Pisces, eyes closed as she blindly attempted to bounce her way over to Post Echo. Of course she didn't see the cat she was bumping into, and of course, she gave a haphazard apology with, "OOF! Sorry~"
(this is late I apologize cx) "No worries!" Skye nudged the other she-cat aside, straightening his chest fur with a few licks. The small gray tabby tom eyed up Pisces with interest, letting out a faint laugh. "I don't recognize you- you're not a Scout Cadet, right? I'd feel bad if you are, because I should know you."
(LMFAO its no worries ive lost like half my threads so ndsgjkl) "Oh no!" She giggled lightly. "I'm a Guider Cadet, but my sister Aries is a Scout Cadet. I just came to drop these off to her." The muted calico picked up a small bundle that she dropped when she bumped into Skye. "Just some herbs for the week. She likes to take some daily; she says it helps her."
"My name is Pisces." She offered him a warm smile. "Whats your name? I'm guessing your a Scout Cadet." Pisces finished her sentence with a laugh.
"I am. My name is Skye. I've seen Aries around." Skye nodded, his tail tip twitching with amusement. Pisces seemed to be high energy like him, which was a rare find. "Want me to walk the rest of the way with you? I was planning on hunting, but I don't really want to. Besides, I want to know more about what being a Guider is like."
Pisces considered his offer, and after a moment, smiled and nodded in acceptance. "That'd be nice! Thank you very much~ Oh! If you've seen Aries, have you seen Aquarius too? She's our other sister!" She sang. Then she registered the second half of his statement. "Not many others were actually interested in what the Guiders do," she smiled warmly as she spoke, "I feel like most take us for granted, honestly. But we really do and know so much!" She paused both her speech and her walking to lower the budle she had back down to the ground, carefully unfolding the larger leaves to reveal what was wrapped inside. "Like these. My sister Aries has a lot of... issues, lets just say. So these herbs all help with her anxiety and stuff." She pointed out a specific set of small spade-shaped green leaves. "Like, these here are thyme leaves. She chews them at night to help her sleep. Or these," She gestured to the poppy seeds, a remedy so common that even tykes can point them out, "Poppy seeds aren't just for pain relief, they can help relieve anxiety too. And if you take enough, it'll knock you out fort the next quarter moon." She laughed. Pisces sure was a rambler, though she never really seemed to notice this quirk. She just felt really comforatble talking to even the strangest of strangers.
"Wow. You sure do know a lot." Skye bobbed his head, not minding the flow of chatter from Pisces. "I don't really know anything about herbs, but if you want to see some hunting moves I'd be glad to show you. Where do you live again? I forget the name, and I'm still learning my way around the tunnels." He admitted, with a half-smile.
Pisces giggled lightly. "I live in the Garden, with the other Guiders. If you ever need to go over that way, either of my sisters would probably be able to show you." She looked at Skye with bright gold eyes and a cocked head, quizzical. "Do you go up to the surface often, being a Scout and all?" She asked him. "I've never been out, really. The closest I get to seeing outside the tunnels is through the small gaps in the Garden." She let out a dry laugh, different than how she giggled before.
"I've been up a few times. I went up with Scout Cadet Mirage, and then once or twice since. It's beautiful." Skye said enthusiastically, ears pricked. "You should definitely go sometime. If you need someone to keep you safe, I can go with you. It's been a bit since I've gone and I want to go again." The gray tabby tom gave her a confident smile, trying his best to puff out his chest to appear perhaps marginally more capable.
She stopped in her tracks and looked at Skye with a large smile. "Can we go up now? I'll just leave this at the entrance to Post Echo and then we can go up." She began to bounce in place, getting excited at the prospect of going back up to the surface with someone new.
“Sure, sounds good to me!” Skye grinned, turning to reroute them to Post Echo. “The surface is pretty tame right outside the tunnels, but it can get kinda scary further away. Lots of bigger animals. You sure you’re not afraid?”
She rolled her golden eyes and gave Skye a small nudge. "Me? Afraid? You're looking at the most fearless Guider cadet in the tunnels!" She puffed out her chest. Her face made it sort of hard to tell if she was bluffing or not.
