Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
I haven't roleplayed Warriors in years, but I've been missing that creative spark. I've been roleplaying since I was 13 and I'm almost 21 now. It's been tough to find an active warriors roleplay on proboards like the ones I knew, but I'm hoping to get comfy here and work on my writing skills again.
I haven't read through everything yet, but I am fretfully behind on the original series (I think I started the Power of Three when I was 14 and that was the last book I read). I'm a bit of a traditionalist myself, I like the first two arcs because those are the ones I know best. Still love these stories though and it makes me so happy to see them still going strong. They were the defining books of my early childhood.
A little about me, I live in Arizona and I'm attending college for forestry. My studies are all about ecology and if I can, I love to sprinkle realism in my posts (I'm no stickler though -- it is a fantasy series after all). It's a little silly, but growing up with Warriors cats likely influenced my career path. And yes, those herbal lists I learned growing up did come in handy for my plant id classes in college.
I tend to ramble, too, so I'll wrap this up but it's nice to meet you all and I hope to become a familiar face around here
Edit: Also, I'm planning to start with a mild-mannered warrior named Littlewhisker, any recommendations on Clans that need warriors/where he'd fit in best? Of course, I'm also willing to make up any character role/type if there's a definite need. Haven't quite felt out the vibes of the roleplay yet so I'd appreciate a point in the right direction.

Knowing the original books isn't necessarily required for good rp'ing here, as several of our clans break away from the template, but it is generally recommended to have some basic knowledge. The first arc is my personal favorite as well, followed closely by Omen of the Stars. I honestly haven't read any of the books all the way through in a good couple of years either, sooooo. lol
Anyways, we're all happy to have you, and if you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask! There aren't any stupid questions here, because I've probably asked them all already.
Hi Lee, I think I'm fine with any Clans as long as they have a format I'm familiar with/intrigued by. I'll be checking them out right now (I added an edit to my post before I saw yours, what Clans would you recommend?)
I didn't know there would be any med spaces available, usually long-term roleplays like these are usually filled up. I always tend to gravitate toward them eventually.

Personally, I'd say the clans that need a little more love right now are Moonclan, Nightclan, Fallclan, Earthclan, Brookclan, and Absum Lux. ^-^ Though I also have cats in Waterclan and the Renegade Regime as well.
Hi, name's Pao! So, I'm gonna assume that you're a voltron fan (feel free to deny it lol) solely based on your name. I'm the deputy in EarthClan and High Sage (medicine cat) in Absum Lux, so I'm gonna say join there. But, I've got cats elsewhere if you wanna role play. EarthClan is more traditional to the books than Absum Lux, or AL for short. AL is kind of like a rogue group or gang or military setting, at least that's my best explanation. It's different and I think it gives it a different type of interest.
So wait I didn't know forestry was a major. I'm Athletic Training and Pre-PT. Also, kind of influenced by the books cus I fell in love with the medicine cat role like book one, but also cus it was more sports based and that's what I'd grown up doing.
Amazing, it's so nice to meet you all! I'm very encouraged by how active this site is. I feel drawn toward MoonClan most, but I'm also interested in FallClan or EarthClan based on their descriptions. I have to learn the different titles/formats though haha.
I have a clear idea for Littlewhisker's character, I just want to make sure he fits in wherever he's at (or balances Clan personalities, or whatever). Is there a general plotting board where I can throw down my ideas and receive feedback?
Haha, I can honestly say I've never watched Voltron -- I both DM and play DnD, just paladin is my current fave class. I like anime and cartoons, though, just haven't gotten around to seeing that one. Forestry is a fun but intense major! I plan to land a permanent job with the US Forest Service, which I'll be working for again this summer I'm happy to know that I'm not alone, that a childhood fascination inspired something that's a bit of a life passion.

I'm a little biased, but Primal Instinct is a great group to join! It follows a format similar to the traditional, but with different names (if you have any questions we have a whole info thread). It's also the place of the evil/deranged/untraditional cats of the forest.
I'm always willing to roleplay with you if you do join! I don't currently have any cats in the traditional clans, as PI is gearing up for a big plot and we have a lot of things going on.

As towards your question on general plotting board, usually the post are put in the general discussion. And other people will give feedback/suggestions or more often offer up a character to help further the plot or to join in. It's usually where I put my plot ideas and will ask for others interested if they want to rp it out with me. The skype chat is used for bouncing off ideas as well.
When I have a plot idea I tend to stalk a clans page and look at the characters and then message rpers directly to ask if they'd be interested in the plot with the character of theirs that I thought would fit. Most of Springclan's threads are plots I made up for the individual characters of the clan with my leader so that every warrior could have some character building.
For a mild-mannered cat I would say Fallclan or Earthclan are good choices. Also they both have a traditional format with names so it'll be familiar to you. Another idea might be to look at the plots the clans have going on for themselves right now. Like as much as I'd love for you to join my clan Springclan and rp with me it's probably not the best for a mild-mannered cat as my leader is causing a lot of trouble among the clan.

Voltron was good, my roommate and I finished Seven Deadly Sins not too long ago and are eagerly waiting for the next season.
I'm always down for plotting so just let me know where you end up and if you add any of cats after Littlewhisker, especially is they end up in a clan I'm not in. Though I'm always good for cross clan too!
