Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Personally Vibrantkit thought everybody was overacting over the current "situation" in SunClan. Not that the little naive kitten knew exactly what Foxstar had really done. The small tabby she-cat had created quite an opinionated little voice and she loved sharing it with fellow members. Her mother, Burningstar of nightclan was currently going through the initiate process so she can join in the culty fun life SunClan offered. Not that Vibrantkit could care less about the process, or if you fail what the result might be. The kitten was more interested in exploring and getting in trouble. One thing she had yet to do was communicate with the other kits that weren't her siblings. It really hadn't been on the top of her priority list, exploring and opinion sharing had been deemed more important for the little she-cat.
The little tabby she-cat had been working hard on her current project, she was very proud of the end result. A beautiful crown of flowers sat between her tiny pink paws. She hadn't told any of the other cats in the nursery that she had sourced the flowers from her explorations outside of SunClan camp. It was important not to get caught. She admired the crown. "I'm a princess of the nursery! Drop to your paws!" she squealed, picking the crown up in her jaws, not really caring if any cats noticed her or cared. Right now, the crown was all she cared about.

Burningkit couldn't quite see what was wrong with his mother. But there was no reference point for what she was like... sane. Ever since his birth, he'd been indoctrinated in the simple rules of "Listen to Foxstar and only Foxstar." and "Do what she says or you'll get punished." Of course, there was always the problem child and Burningkit was that. The fiery spirit of a fighter had been given to him, and it resulted in his things being destroyed or generally feeling bad after being forced to eat certain herbs with dinner. He had lost his favorite bow as of late, but with how much the siblings scavenged around, there was bound to be another. And he guessed that's why he kept defying. There was always something else to see, something new to do. It was a rush of curiosity and defiance that defined him. And he was fine with that.
An orange ear flicked back at Vibrantkit's outburst. All his siblings were out playing, while he was recovering from an stomachache after being caught sneaking these weird berries he found outside and encouraging others to try them. Were they deadly? He didn't think so. But they held such a rich dark color, he couldn't help trying them. Dark orange eyes stared blankly at the tabby she-cat, wondering briefly if the connection between him and her mother was obvious enough for her to pick up on. Rolling over to his stomach, a pang of pain shot through him. Breathing in slowly, he stood up slowly as his nerves steadied, "Already was there."

The crown almost tumbled directly off Vibrantkit's tiny fluffy head as she turned dramatically towards the voice of the othher kit. Her light green eyes clouding with interest when they met the eyes of the other kitten who had spoken. She had not talked to him personally and wasn't quite sure who he was, or how he fitted into SunClan. However, the ginger tom sitting all alone intrigued her. She was okay with being alone and playing her little games, so when he replied it kinda surprised her. Most kits didn't care about her little games of king and queen or about anything she said for that matter. The thought made a wave of burning anger begin to grow inside of her. If only others took the time to listen to her opinions...
The small tabby she-cat shook her head, the flame in her eyes simmering down. Her gaze instead turning to the other kit. "Thank you my prince!" she squealed with delight at the fact that he was taking part in her game.

Burningkit's whiskers twitched in amusement as Vibrantkit called him her prince. Really, he was already a prince of Sunclan, though more of the vagrant one that his parents would never give his inheritance to until he got his act together. Maybe one day, but that day was certainly not today. His paws shook underneath him, straining with effort as he dipped the few inches he could before righting himself. The discomfort reminded him of how much easier things would be if he just listened, but Burningkit was never one to take the easy way out.
"You're welcome, my lady." He and his siblings were mostly isolated from the other kits, especially those of an orange she-cat that reminded him a lot of himself. So even this little interaction was another act of defiance. His stomach turned at the thought, but he managed to suppress it.

A flash of concern crossed Vibrantkit's face, as she watched the tom shake slightly as he stood. She didn't ask questions though, he was probably recovering from a bug. It wasn't uncommon. Though she did wonder why she had not seen him around SunClan's camp much. However, her thoughts were soon forgotten as soon as he replied. It almost sent her head over paws with delight. My lady? Oh, hell yeah! He just called her my lady? Beaming with delight and satisfaction, she tumbled over towards him, her paw outstretched in a friendly manner. "I'm queen Vibrantstar of VibrantClan. Will you be my prince to guard me when the evil clans attack VibrantClan?" She couldn't keep back a squeal of delight as she rolled over on the earth near him, "they want to kill us all! And take away our homes. Please my prince, you must save us!"
The small she-cat pictured hordes of fierce warriors running through the nursery door, they were tall and mighty but their eyes were dark, evil sockets, full of hatred. "Quickly!" She squealed with fear, diving behind Burningkit with quite some force.

A bug. That was it. That was all. Briefly baffled by her invitation, he lifted his paw to meet her's but was too slow. He took a small step forward, which at least kept him from getting bowled over by Vibrantkit's excitement. Which was good, cause he wasn't entirely sure he'd be able to get back up again. At being hidden behind, he glanced behind him, brown eyes playful, "You must be in some dire straits to ask a decrepit warrior like me for help. I guess I'll do what I can." Really, who were these evil cats? Why did they want to take over Vibrantclan? Were these their homes before being taken over by a monarch who named her clan after herself? These really weren't the questions Burningkit would have asked himself, cause he's a kit and all. And the kind of guy where if someone asks for help, he couldn't help but help them. But he only had so much strength and his weak swipes would surely be overpowered soon.

Decrepit warrior? Oh! Such a big word, Vibrantkit loved it. Wow, this kit was so different and, well, really cool. Honestly, any cat who used big words impressed Vibrantkit. She didn't know why, but she liked different things... strange things others didn't like. "You can save me!" She purred, rolling about on her back, her paws batting the air, her laughter echoing around the nursery walls. Noticing how weak Burningkit's swipes were, she sat up and looked at him. He was most certainly wasn't like most kits she knew. "Oh my gosh! Look at those powerful blows. Oh-oh! The hero, the savior, the wonderful prince Burningkit wins the fight and the living invaders run in fear!" Giggling, she tumbled next to him, "thank you my prince... You really did save me. Next time don't doubt yourself." She smiled, patting him on the shoulder with her tiny paws.

What pathetic forces of evil. Really. To be taken out by one as frail as him and who barely understood the words said to him. He was sure decrepit was something his sister called him after a bad morning on herbs. But hey, if it impressed Vibrantkit, and he could help in her little game, it was worth it. The light weight on his back from her patting him almost bowled him over, but Burningkit held himself up. She was right, he ought to stop doubting himself. Still, every tremor rang through him as another weakness. He could only quell them so much, but he at least pretended not to notice and flashed a smile at Vibrantkit, "Ha, watch them claw their way back home with their tails between their legs. You're welcome Vibrantstar. And thank you, I'll take your words to heart. Maybe next time, you'll get to see me actually beat them down. Till then." Bringing himself together, he gave one last look at Vibrantstar and ran out of the nursery.

Burningkit was certainly different from other cats. She wondered why she hadn't seen him around much. However, Vibrantkit was ripped from her thoughts, when Burningkit made a run for it. Now, where was he off to? Gosh. "Hey! Wait for me!" she cried out, jumping up and scattering after the other kit. He was not getting away, not from Vibrantstar. She was too quick, he could run but he couldn't hide. Vibrantkit bounded after the ginger coloured tom, squealing with joy. This was great fun! "Come back here!" She demanded. Geez. Why would he run from her? Perhaps he was playing chasy. Well, that sounded fun.
Tumbling out the nursery door, Vibrantkit looked quickly around camp. It wasn't hard to spot his ginger pelt. Keeping her eyes focussed on his pelt, she dived after him. He was not going far.

Burningkit held few intentions of hiding, just sitting next to the nursery wall. He just wished he felt a little better so he could put up an actual fight, it was a pitiful scene for the prince. Really, the run was to just end the scene, but it seemed the script kept going past where he read. The brief run winded him, so he offered little resistance to being bowled over by Vibrantkit. He had barely the strength to fight off those intruders, let alone the rambunctious leader of the clan he just saved. Making a few meek attempts to push her off, Burningkit managed to get his feet underneath him and push her off. Slowly and gently, of course, he had no option to be rough. "My duty is done, m'lady. What more could you possibly ask of me?"

Vibrantkit rolled her eyes at the other kit. As if he was going to end her little game of make-believe right here and now. No - it was too much of a rare opportunity that someone wanted to join in her game, she couldn't let this just slip through her paws. Burningkit had joined her game and until she felt tired or needed a nap, it was going to continue. At least, that was what Vibrantkit hoped. Not noticing that Burningkit had hardly made a run for it, she burst out, "you ran from your queen? That is a disgrace, my prince. I do not know how to express how disappointed I am."
The small tabby she-cat's flower crown was broken as it had not been well made. The daises that had once been wrapped so neatly in a circle, were missing and torn. The crown itself hung off the small she-cat's ear. It looked sad. Picking it up in her tiny paws, Vibrantkit sighed. "I was going to make one of these for you. So you could really be a true prince."

This kit could not take a hint, huh? He was sure that any of his other siblings would have just said what they thought to her face. And Burningkit was approaching that edge, egged on by the strain in his legs. If only he had just stayed asleep, but he knew he never would have. He was a light sleeper. Ears flattening as she yelled at him, his eyes threatened to roll. Of course he'd run from the queen. He was Burningkit, what did she expect. Burningkit was no knight, more a mercenary than anything.
"It's queen now? What happened to just leader?" He still let out, words laced with a sprinkle of annoyance, "but sure, please do. We'll see how long the princedom will last." Her own had broken in the midst of her energy and he knew this one would suffer a similar fate. But he may as well play along.

The small kit took a step back, noticing the slight tinge of annoyance in the other kit's voice. Deep down she felt a slight tingle of sorriness for him. She was extremely crazy and invested in her games of kings and queens and, well, he had just fought off a whole horde of evil attackers to defend her. She had to give it to him, he was such a nice guy. Geez. The fact that he was still putting up with her. Oh, how could she make things up? Think quick little kit!
"Well... uh, y-you can be king if you want?" Vibrantkit offered hopefully. Would this be her saving line? She wasn't sure. Well, best to be safe than sorry. "Uh, and maybe I'll promote you to deputy of VibrantClan, for being such a wonderful fighter. Oh, and! You can have my crown!" She added, offering the crown to Burningkit between her jaws. "Take it."

Burningkit's eyes widened, he didn't quite expect to put her off too much. And he instantly regretted the tinge in his voice. Even if she got caught up in her antics and the like, she was one of the few that would interact with him outside his family. He looked down at his paws for a bit, trying to think of what to say. Even when he raised his gaze, he couldn't find it in him to meet her's. "No, princedom is fine. I'm just... exhausted after fighting off that horde. Keep your crown, please, no one can wear it as you can, after all, Vibrantstar." He gently pushed the crown back towards her.

Oh, what a sweetie pie! Vibrantkit almost fell head over heels when the little tom handed her back the crown. "You sure?" She asked, her eyes huge, her voice almost a small squeak. A look of concern followed her expression of surprise. "Oh, I'm sorry. Come, my prince, you must rest." She smiled, gently flicking his ear and then forcefully grabbing him and proceeding to drag him inside of the Nursery. "Sit." She instructed, tumbling down to sit next to him. "So, how come I haven't seen much of you before?" She asked, curiosity taking over her. It was true after all, she had never met Burningkit before. This intrigued her even more.

Burningkit felt the heat rise on his face the more she spoke. She... accepted it so easily? He couldn't help but be surprised, unable to remember the last time someone took his words at such face value. It wasn't a lie, he wouldn't do that. Opening his mouth to say something, he almost bit his tongue as she forcefully grabbed him and dragged him back to the nursery. He figured he could play prince a little more. Settling back in a random nest, stretching to try and loosen his muscles, he considered her question. It was obvious he wasn't new, least to him it wasn't. Already a poor enough liar, he couldn't come up with a real good one. And a chance to rake his mother over the coals was welcome.
"Well, me and my siblings spend most of our time with our mom and dad. Kinda to the point of isolation from the rest of the clan." He smiled, almost like he was playing it off, like it was normal.

Vibrantkit stared at Burningkit, chocking her head to the side, interest plastered all over her face. "Hmmm." She murmured, as Burningkit explained the current situation he had with his family. Something seemed odd about what the other little kit was telling her. Why would parents want to purposefully isolate their kits? Something didn't add up. Even more exciting! Her little prince had a mystery as well as charm and brute strength. It kept getting better.
"So." She meowed, licking her tail carefully between her paws. "My prince, sounds like your parents have issues." She almost giggled at her own comment but held back. "Why would they want to keep you and your siblings isolated from the world?" Her eyes widened. "Maybe there is something they're trying to hide from you?" A frown crossed her face. "But what could that be?"

Burningkit listened to her with a sense of intensity that he approached most things with. She was so animated, it was hard not to notice each different move she made. Somehow, he got his mind to circle back to the topic at hand with a roll of the eye. His parents had issues? He supposed so but wasn't it natural to want to spend as much time with your family as possible? Burningkit didn't really know, he didn't have the ability or the experience to think otherwise. But in a sense, he had an idea of what his mother's goal was.
Circling a paw through one of the pieces of grass that made up the bed, he spoke absent-mindedly, "I guess. It's more that she wants her to be our world if that makes sense." Shrugging, he turned his gaze back to Vibrantkit, "so we're completely devoted to her."

Frowning, Vibrantkit rolled over again - she was extremely energetic and had an issue with keeping still. Well, the queens of the nursery called it an "issue," but Vibrantkit couldn't care less. Besides, Burningkit seemed so cool and exciting she couldn't help but roll about in excitement. She was already picturing all the cool adventures her and her prince could go on. For now, though, the stories about his family were interesting and cool enough. She liked working others out on the little information they gave her. She simply loved coming up with all sorts of theories.
"So." She meowed, grabbing Burningkit's ginger tail between her jaws and then flicking it away with her paws. "Here's what I'm thinking: Your mum thinks she's the sun god and is treating you and your siblings like her minions!" Her eyes widened, "Oh! Oh! And also, I bet she makes you worship her like some sort of deity. I also think she's probably really self-centered or at least, it sounds like she is." She paused, glancing up at Burningkit. "Am I correct?" She squealed.

Burningkit didn't mind. He was a mover and a shaker when he wasn't bedridden with stomach cramps. Admittedly, recently it's felt like he's been doing the latter more than the former. Which was concerning, but his ceremony was coming up soon. So at least he could be sick in the apprentice's den rather than the nursery. Vibrantkit's analysis wasn't far off. There were a few things off though.
He barely noticed the teeth around his tail and probably unconsciously smacked her in the face with the tip. "I don't think she wants to be the Sun God. We're of royal blood, so she expects everyone to treat us like it, but also treat her as one. Though I'm not sure godship is right." Burningkit was sure another of his siblings could explain this better, but he had no idea where any of them were, "It's more for us to not consider anyone else to take orders from except her. And she tends to wear down our rebellion. I'm still holding out for apprenticeship, though."
