Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A gentle reminder about when picking a name for your Warrior or reserved Warrior name to make sure it is not something that is used in the actually books. I know there is so many people and names to keep track of, but it is only fair to the Erin Hunter team that we don't use any of their names. I am only posting this as I have seen a couple in use.

To add on to what I have said above, and since apparently the Suggestion page doesn't exist(at least according to the computer I am on)...
I remember on the original Classic we had an entire list of names used in the Warriors series. Perhaps someone could transfer the idea over to this new forum?

I’m not going to lie, I did this once but it was a complete accident. I was working on naming a litter and one of the names I came up with was used in one of the newer books that I had not read yet. Of course I changed it, but it was unintentional lol
I personally haven't read all of the books yet, I am even waiting on a new series to be released and delivered to me right now but it wont be out until October. I think having a section with names we are not allowed to use would be helpful for those who do not know or remember ever name used in the books, especially if it is a rule.

I completely agree, I regularly used what I considered the 'restricted names' or 'taken names' list to make sure that my character's name was 100% unique. Or, well, wasn't exactly like in the books.
I have to be honest, it wasn't until you just brought it up now, CreativeFyre, that I found out we don't have it on here anymore. That needs to be returned, it was incredibly useful.
I think I too have accidentally used a name from the books, although admittedly I only read as far as The New Prophecy, so if I used more from the books I was unaware x"DD Another reason we need that page back.

I believe it is something everyone has done on accident at least once. I remember writing out one of my first bio's, and being so disappointed being told I had to rename the cat since it was in the books. I also tried to make a cat named Dovewing, only to be told to rename it. Accidents happen. I am not saying to give people warnings, but for Leaders and User's being more careful when adding cats.
I think the reason we didn’t transfer the list was because it was hard to update - it’s easier to just check the wiki and see if the name is used c: If y’all want the page back I’m sure it can be arranged, though!

Yeah, when I was leader of the clans I was in, I would regularly check the restricted names page before adding characters from the joining threads so that if there was a name that was already taken, I would notify them either in the thread or in a message that they would need to change the name. I didn't add characters until they changed the name or said something to me otherwise.

If its hard to update we could always link to the Wiki, that way nobody has to constantly update it etc. Because its definitely a hassle seeing as there are like... Seven Arcs oof.
