Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Seemed he had her attention. A similar expression to the apprentice's mirrored on the tom's face as he said, "Perhaps I could show you something of how a real cat fights." The tricks and skills of the League. He didn't plan to show her any more than the average youngling knew, but based on the training he got as a Clan cat that enough would be more than she would ever learn here.
He dropped into a battle crouch at her response, claws unsheathed as he simply meowed, "Show me." This cat might have the spirit, but he had to know if she possessed any skill already that would make teaching her worth his time.
She darted past him then spun around, launched, and landed squarely on his back, digging her claws into his shoulders for grip while using her other paw to claw at his eyes. Though she didn't want to harm him too bad so she avoided getting her claws into his eyes.
Only his head shifted to track her maneuver, a low growl in his throat at the feel of claws. At least she wasn't so soft that she'd go with sheathed claws. It was as her free paw swiped at his eyes that he reacted, head ducking down before his muzzle turned to her other paw. He snapped at the paw on his shoulder, teeth aimed to bury deep - not deep enough to risk permanent damage, but certainly deep enough to prove he wasn't concerned about drawing blood - before he flipped onto his back. Either she'd have to wrench her paw out through his teeth or risk getting pinned under the League cat.
She shrieked in both surprise and pain when he bit her paw and twisted. She knew that if she were to yank her paw away, it could cause more damage. She went along with the tom and was crushed beneath him. She then chose to lift her back paws underneath him and started kicking vigorously, scratching at his back.
